Customer service attitude not my cup of tea. Just give me whatever to eat for $25 and then tell me it was a mistake u give me 2 chicken bone. Come on that’s reckless . Potatoes green is old and it was not freshly made so there was no meat left but old meal. Lost my appetite. I was hoping this spot was going to be my go to spot but the little attitudes not for me. I’m from the south we work hard for our money not for someone to throw whatever in a bowl and say it was a mistake. I was smiling more than the workers when I walked in and some look confuse like smiling is a crime and the attitude at customers not comfortable I can’t to patronize your business I don’t have to come in there.

I am reviewing this restaurant for health reasons, I do not want anyone else to have the same experience as I did earlier today. guys I was served bloody raw uncooked meat I had to spit it out, we contacted their customer support lady picked up was very indifferent and unprofessional, we decided to take the food back and requested to speak with the manager, he didn't care neither, instead he was asking me to calm down in a very arrogant manner umm Sir you just made he chew raw meat I am worried about salmonella poisoning.. sad some of these people don't care about anything else besides money.

If I could give 0 stars I would I love African Food but I was very disappointed when I ordered food for me and my two kids. I ordered peanut soup and two orders of a Egusi soup with foo foo the portion size for my Egusi soup compared to my peanut soup was very sad. It was barely any meat in there. I can literally count two pieces of meat and both of my orders. It wasn’t nowhere close to a half a size of bowl I could’ve paid that $50 and bought food from the grocery store to make the goosy soup. I was very disappointed.

If you're craving authentic West African flavors, Suya House Africa Grill is a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and the rich aroma of traditional spices that instantly whets your appetite.

The star of the show is, of course, the suya—perfectly grilled, tender, and packed with smoky, spicy flavor. Whether it's beef, chicken, or croaker fish each skewer is seasoned to perfection and their signature spicy pepper mix. It’s the kind of dish that makes you want to order more before you’ve even finished your first bite.

Beyond suya, the menu is a celebration of African cuisine. The jollof rice is flavorful and well-balanced, and the egusi soup is rich and hearty, especially when paired with pounded yam. They also offer Nigerian sodas and drinks that give you the full cultural experience.

The ambiance is casual but vibrant, often filled with Afrobeat music and a welcoming crowd. The staff is attentive and helpful, especially if you’re new to the cuisine and need some guidance.

Final Verdict: Suya House Africa Grill is a hidden gem for lovers of African food—or anyone looking to try something bold and delicious. Great food, generous portions, and authentic vibes. Highly...

Stop by this restaurant today, 1st the host was excellent no issues with her very polite, my issues is with ownership I ordered my food which took about an hour to receive which I really didn't mind cause I was getting fresh food, but while sitting there I noticed the ownership at end of bar bring a pizza and chicken from a different restaurant and proceed to eat the food with the workers and have a whole conversation while not helping or appearing to help ease the back log for a business #1 I understand you might get tired of the food you serve BUT you shouldn't be eating other restaurants food in the open in front of perspective customers cause if I had saw that before I ordered it would have became weary of the food and not ordered and left I glad I didn't the food was awesome this is just an FYI to be mindful of not destroying your product/ brand/ reputation over little things that build up overtime due to...

I love west African food!! It’s a spot in southwest Philly that’s my go too but I didn’t feel like driving into The city! I saw flavors on my 4 you page on instagram and it was right on time bc it’s close to me.

This place is one of those don’t judge a book by its cover kinda place, bc the outside appearance was completely different than the inside! Walking in I’m like this about to be a vibe lol, the decor was super modern! The greenery on the ceiling was a beautiful touch!! And I believe they have hookah.

I got the egusi with goat meat and fufu, it was $25 dollars but well worth it , it’s double the price I pay in southwest but that’s okay, I was pleased. The customer service was good as well, if you looking to get food quick this isn’t your place bc the food takes awhile to come out which was okay with with me, take yall time with my food lol I believe I waited about 30 to 35 minutes for my food. Over all I loved it! And I’ll be back...
