UPDATE 2: So, I'm finally done for good with this place. A few weeks ago I showed up 15 mins after they were supposed to open, another car in front of me did the same. Waited at the speaker, no one ever came. We shrugged, and left. Don't know when they ever did open. Ok, whatever. Then today, the same old line that I experienced on the original review. "Sorry, we don't have any of our pastries today." You are a food place! How do you not have pastries?? Listen, if it happens once, I understand. But this is CONSISTENT at this place! Done, no more.
UPDATE: So it's been about a year since my last experience (detailed below) and I decided to try again. Things seem to have improved greatly at the Brew Thru. There's all new employees that have been really great, and they haven't been out of any items! Now if we could just get them to open at 6:30...But glad to be able to frequent this place again!
Wow, this place was never top-tier, but it's really lost its way. Pulled in today, placed my order, and they were out of the pastry I ordered. So I ordered a bagel-sandwich instead. Their oven was down so she told me the only thing she had were pastry items - which I had just ordered and they were out of! I tried one more: ok so what muffins (under pastries) do you have? I"m sorry, we're out of those! I really like to support local, and drove out of my way to go there. Guess I'm stuck with...
Read moreThis is a sad review to give. I've been coming to the Bodacious Family shops for literal years. I remember when it opened up and going for the first time still. Recently I've gotten multiple cappuccinos from the Thru. I've always adored and loved the cappuccinos because it has been one of the only places I can find an authentic and good one! But these past several have not been very good.. since it has been taken over by all these new kids they're really lacking the batista skills. Maybe some one from the original crew should come through and give them a lesson. I miss my delectable coffees.
Edit: it's Feb. 2023 and it's so hit or miss. One day I get a decent coffee and another it's just bleh. For the price, consistency and quality don't seem like too much. There are all new people and kids working there it seems almost monthly. It was nice when people got to know you and your order and made it to the same quality each time. The Brew Thru may be very convenient to my location, but I don't mind driving out of...
Read moreNice people and location, VERY bad coffee. The coffee buyers should be fired, the roasters imprisoned, and local NAS fighter jet squadrons should consider altering their bombing runs to accommodate this affront to human decency in the form of a coffee shop selling bitter bean juice that I wouldnât wish upon the inmates at Guantanamo. Pensacola is a patriotic town and deserves better; this coffee can be described as un-American at best, treasonous at worst. The coffee here is so bad itâs basically tastebud mutiny and if I was the local base Commander it would be fair to order the business owners to only bread and water rations and confine them to quarters for this insult to the publicâs dignity. Iâd rather drink the seawater in the bay across the street than have to endure this acidic taint...
