We really enjoy this humble little cottage on the channel between Pentwater Lake and Lake Michigan, the decor feels like visiting your auntie's place. The service is friendly and prompt. We ordered the vegetable omelet which came back very thin and light and just stuffed with asparagus, spinach, bell pepper, and just the right amount of feta, it was excellent. It comes with sliver thin rounds of potato rotated to perfection, so tender! It also comes with toast and a side of homemade strawberry freezer jam that had the texture of barbeque sauce, you can pour it on the toast or dunk it in, it's unique and tasty. Our kiddo had the waffle with whipped cream and strawberries, it was tasty but not a generous portion and came with no sides, it was good but over priced for what you got for $9, where the omlet was worth every penny of the $9. The coffee is nothing special, but overall it's a very good breakfast in a charming atmosphere, we'd recommend it as the best in Pentwater. And for our fellow vegetarians, they even have vegetarian sausage, a rarity in this part...

I had the Pentwater parfait which was wonderful with layers of fruit, yogurt and homemade granola. My husband had an omelette with the potatoes and cinnamon raisin bread. It was all wonderful. I should have taken pictures before they disappeared. We will definitely be back the next time we are...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem, I almost don't want to tell you about it so it'll stay that way! 😄 They serve their own homemade freezer jam with every order of toast, you're not going to want to miss it, it tastes like the freshest, sweetest strawberry you ever had. The omlettes are very good, not at all your standard small diner quality. The decor is very simple and charming, the staff is always warm and friendly. We look forward to breakfast here...
