The Antler Pentwater — Restaurant in Pentwater Township

We stopped in for a few drinks and appetizers. We luckily got 6 seats at the bar as they were very busy. Alex, the bartender had just started his shift and didn't seem thrilled to be there. He was very impatient with us (even rolling his eyes on a couple occasions) there was an issue with our wing order that apparently a server took the wrong order to her table. No problem, mistakes happen. The issue was when we brought to Alex's attention that we only got 12 wings and not 24 he actually came over and counted the bones on our plates to confirm we were telling the truth! We had empty drinks and when we asked for another he said "when I get a chance you can" two of our guests are also business owners and couldn't believe how rude he was.He grew more sarcastic as the time went on. When we cashed out to leave he actually said "I hope your night gets better!" I worked in the restaurant business for 20 years and couldn't believe it! The food was pretty good and the bloody Mary was good but I would never sit at...

Ordered drinks upstairs, scanned everyone’s ID’s and served us. The bartender was rude from the start. He had a very negative demeanor and I think it’s because we were the youngest group there. Then when we went back within 5 mins later, the bartender told the other girl that we haven’t been there yet and needed to rescan. No big deal, but I think he’d remember the only group of younger people when it genuinely wasn’t too busy. Then, 3 of our ID’s suddenly didn’t scanned and he couldn’t serve us. It would be different if we hadn’t all been served multiple drinks. They forced us to leave and we weren’t even being loud or obnoxious. I get that, but when he seemed rude to us in the start without anything warranted, something seemed very off. They also claimed this has never happened before. However, we all are 22+ and it just didn’t feel right. Wouldn’t come back here if it was free.

The only saving grace was the female bartender. She went out of her way to be very nice and answer my questions...

We went here as a group. Upon arrival we were told it was about a 20 minute wait. We waited for about 20 minutes and they called us. We go in and they sit us at this small table located under the stairs. The waitress showed up about 5 minutes later and took our drink orders. We waited for about 10 minutes and got our drinks and then ordered food. We then proceeded to wait for another hour (with a little baby that didnt want to be sitting ) until we finally got our food. We watched people that came in AFTER us get food BEFORE us and waited for a good 20 more minutes before our food arrived. I've worked as a cook in a very busy restaurant and I know first hand what our meals take to make and it should have been out in 15 minutes no matter how busy you guys were. The waitress was snotty because we were getting irritated by the end of it all. HELLO, you guys SUCK. Wouldn't recommend you to anyone.
