Channel Lane Inn — Hotel in Pentwater Township

We stayed at the Channel Lane Inn the last weekend in September. Growing up our family spent 6 weeks a year in the wonderful town of Pentwater. This was in the 1960’s – 70’s. We’ve continued to visit occasionally, but had never stayed in at the Channel Lane Inn. My sister and I made a trip to visit with some dear friends and wanted to stay overnight. The B&B’s in town were so expensive and we really didn’t want to stay in Ludington or Hart. We saw that Channel Lane Inn had a room open for Friday night for $70 which was perfect for us. The location is unbeatable. You are just steps from downtown Pentwater where the restaurants, shops and events happen. Also you are right on the wonderful Channel and walkway down to the beach. It’s a short walk everywhere. The rooms were large and had a kitchenette that was very well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. There was a microwave, coffee pot, two burners and a small fridge. The room has a good sized bathroom and the patio leads out to a courtyard area with grills and picnic tables. There are even clotheslines to hang you wet beach towels. This is the Perfect place to stay is you want something that allows you to have a great ‘beach centered’ vacation. When I got to Pentwater, I spend most of my time at the beach or in town. This place allows you, for a reasonable price, to cook up some quick meals and enjoy all the area has to offer. I’ve stayed at the B&B’s in town, but they are ‘fancier’ and I never felt comfortable being ‘sandy’ and ‘beachy’ there. I know that I’ll be staying at the Channel Lane Inn whenever...

Another fabulous vacation at the Channel Lane Inn for nearly two weeks this past August/2021. Lisa and Shane (Innkeepers) are wonderful and will do everything to make ones stay perfect. The location is exceptional; with all of Pentwater's best features within walking distance. It is private, yet provides great people watching, as they travel to the beautiful channel walk breakwater. The Channel Lane Inn is always stocked with fresh towels, paper goods, fresh linens. The other vacation residents are fun and mostly regulars.
