We came in at night time around 9 PM and half of the restaurant was closed. There were so many workers off their shift just talking to each other. We were wandering the restaurant trying to figure out where to sit And some women off their shift kept pressuring us to sit somewhere else. I guess they didn’t want to clean up certain tables But it doesn’t make sense because after we sat down, some other people came in and sat on the tables we wanted to sit in. When we finally sat down, our waiter, asked us what we wanted to drink and we were waiting almost 10 minutes for our drink And he forgot to give us our waters. We were looking at the menu and he didn’t even ask us what we wanted to order after another 10 minutes of us just sitting looking around. He kept stopping to talk to other Coworkers which was very frustrating Because every time we had asked for something it would 5 to 10 minutes just to bring something. We had ordered an appetizer and it was good. The only complaint as that they deep fried the pickles for too long they were like chips at that point. We had also ordered pizza and it took a very, very long time and I am not sure why because there was not lot of customers, just all the coworkers talking and drinking. The pizza we ordered was very good, but I was very frustrated because by the time we had finished our appetizers, we needed a refill on our drink and he did not refill it. We were pretty much done and ready to leave and we finally asked for a refill, but he took so long just to bring us our drink that we just ended up paying. Honestly, this was one of the worst services I have ever received and it’s very disappointing because the food is good. Before we left he quickly opened his screen to see how much we tipped him and we tipped him very low because that was pretty much the worst service we have gotten had a sit down restaurant. It took him 5 to 10 minutes Every single time we needed something and did not refill or drinks until we asked. He just kept holding our drink and talking to other coworkers like buddy I want to leave. I’m not gonna wait for you. So after he looked at the tip, he got really upset and started complaining about his tip when he’s right in front of us about to leave and his other coworker had said something to him, but all I heard was “ Unless you want to start issues” Probably meaning he wanted to say something to us. Read moreDinner with Mrs. V. We had decided earlier this morning that we needed to discover a new burger eatery. I conducted my usual recon via Google, and decided on a local spot; however, my Spidey was telling me that my initial choice would not meet or exceed my expectations. I called an audible at the last minute and decided on Bubba’s 33, located in a restaurant district in Peoria, AZ bordering Glendale. You could feel the energy and the vibe of this burger/pizza restaurant from the parking lot. Despite being slammed on a Saturday night, we were immediately greeted and seated by the friendly staff. Moments later, Nick our server arrived at our table. After speaking with Nick, I immediately knew I had made the right choice. Nick is a very welcoming, knowledgeable, and engaging breath of fresh air in the restaurant biz. I was immediately drawn to the patriotic, sports, and music memorabilia mixed with the fun eclectic art. Shortly after we were visited by Gabi, a server who gave us the backstory of this sister restaurant of Texas Roadhouse, and spoke very highly of our server Nick, and then Dakota, a manager in training dropped by to see if our needs were being met and if he could be of assistance. Fran ordered the the Spicy Habanero Burger with a side salad. I ordered a Bacon Guacamole Burger with unsalted fries (my attempt to make fries healthy again MFHA) My burger had two bacon infused patties which are served at a perfectly prepared medium well temperature. The food was extraordinarily delicious with flavor for days! As we were finishing dinner, Shana, the service manager arrived at our table to ask us about our dining experience and presented us with a Bubba’s 33 plastic tumbler for first time guests. Read moreI had ordered for my son and me off of doordash since due to my injury I cant drive . I already not a fan of delivery orders it always seems because there thru third party the restraunt never cares because you cant do much about it. Specifically had added frys into my order for my son which we knew we had to wait 40 mins for. So getting the food finally and no frys my son was very hangry and upset and getting a credit through doordash doesnt solve it I cant go pick up the missing item and I had called to see what had happened I know its simple but please be mindful take a moment to slow down double check. I spoke to the manager sidney who at first said her to go put everything and the driver must have taken it. No the bag still had the stickers and staples sealing it. So she had said she would send to my email at the end of the night a voucher I'm looking today and nothing. I call just to be told to wait and hung up on. I understand how busy and chaotic it gets in restraunt I worked all my youth. Every position. I now own my own business and have to deal with the public. So I get it !!!! But the whole attitude torwards just felt so mediocre and unprofessional. Just please take the moment to treat your delivery customers the same way in house and keep in mind what that person could be going through and why they chose your place of business.
It's so simple but really is principle . I had surgery 4 days ago and ordering food good quality food for a very hangry toddler that's very specific on his frys and cried till the food was here then upset. I understand thats not your issue and above your pay grade but double checking to see if the frys were in there wouldve gave so much peace of mind. Please please just treat all your customers the same...
