normally this jimmy johns is a good place. I order from here prolly once a week. today I called and they were having some issues taking my credit card. now...the phones in jimmy johns where they take delivery calls are right next to the soda machines and seating areas...I had to tell two different people not to scream, yes I said scream those places are loud all the time, my credit card number and details to everyone in the room. the second person was apparently a manager and tried to defend herself for screaming my information. with the times that we live in these people should know better than to do this. when I tried to tell her this the manager hung the phone up on me!!!! I called back and gave her a price of my mind and she still said that they have always done it that way...I am a gm of a hotel and I can tell you right now that my employees never verbally repeat a CC number. people in the service industry need to be trained properly on how to handle sensitive information such as CC numbers and no one has apparently been trained at this Jimmy Johns! never will I give my CC info...
Read more6 sandwiches ordered online, zero started by the time I arrived. ALL SIX were not prepared to order, or labeled according to the order ( so the wrapper has to come off and the bread peeled back to see what it is ). A big john without extra meet, a veggie delight where the veggies don't even cover the bread, all veggies left off another. Sorry, but making subs isn't rocket science, so why would I pay a rocket fuel price?
What really tipped the cart was being verbally accosted for getting a drink while waiting for the extra prep time.
My takeaways were that if you want to order from this location you will have to observe them making the sandwich to have a prayer of getting it right - as well as personally instruct them to label your order selection so you don't have to paw through...
Read more5 orders in a row took 40+ minutes - I live 4 miles away. GPS says 4 minutes to drive. When I called in to tell them, it took me saying I hadn't even gotten an apology to the second manager I spoke with before getting said "apology." I was told there was nothing anyone could do & the first manager I spoke with told me that I should just expect that delivery time any time I order going forward. Extremely displeased with how both managers chose to handle the situation. I wasn't even told they were switching managers, the first one just handed the phone to the second one & the second one didn't introduce herself. I had to ask her name & position. Both were rude, neither showed any amount of interest in caring whether my money is spent there...
