Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Peoria

We've visited in the past and received soggy food, so we hadn't been back in a while. But our meal and service last night was excellent! Lisa helped us pick out food and sides (there were more than I thought!), even manager Lori chimed in while helping Robin at the drive-thru. Overall everyone was very friendly.

Cory did a SPECTACULAR job on my baked cod, green beans, and hush puppies. It was a pleasant surprise to see a baked option as too much fried food gives me a stomachache.

I got the creamy garlic sauce on my fish, it was light yet still had body and was so satisfying. I don't know what he did to the green beans, but those were the green beans of my life.

I didn't have any expectations for the hush puppies, I had gotten them because my partner wanted extra, but these were light, crunchy and seasoned perfectly. I understand why people like them now and wish I had ordered more for myself :(

I tried my partner's cheese sticks too and they were also light and crunchy on the outside, with warm gooey mozzarella on the inside. So good.

Cory seems like a very nice young man who is interested in doing a good job. It definitely shows in the food he makes. I hope he continues to receive positive feedback from others to encourage him to keep doing what he's doing.

We aren't always able to eat out, but we both enthusiastically agreed that our money was well spent and we will definitely visit again.

Very rude and disrespectful.

We were traveling from out of the area and stopped for lunch. There was only 2 vehicles parked in the whole parking and 3 cars in the drive through. Because we were towing a trailer, we drove around the building and parked out front, in sight of the dining room, and away from the handicap parking. As my family was exiting our vehicle one of the employees (assuming manager) attempted to get us to move our vehicle and trailer to the side of the building across from the handicap parking and out of sight of their dining room. We questioned why and their response was to make parking for elderly (though there was closer handicap parking available). We said no and she rudely went back inside. My wife entered the building through another door, took note of the only person's in the building were the employees, and discovered the same employee talking very disrespectfully about us. My wife confronted this employee, then this person immediately became defensive and argumentative. We discussed with the employee of our disappointment and how we have a handicap placard, yet she continued to be very disrespectful. We ended up leaving and finding another location to eat at. I had stopped by the restaurant recently and ordered at the drive-thru. After returning home, I discovered that most of my order was missing. I called the restaurant and explained the situation, and they said that they had given me someone else's order. They said I could stop by or they could send me a card in the mail. I opted for the card in the mail, but after waiting 2 weeks, I stopped by the restaurant and told them I never received the card. The DM told them to make me a tray, and the woman told me I would still receive the card in the mail to use later. It's been about 2 months and no card was ever received. So I stopped by yesterday and just wanted to finish out my gift card, which had $23.94 still on it. After they processed my gift card, they said that I had a balance due of $3.06. I paid cash, and asked if they had checked my order over. They said they did, and I went home. When I arrived home, I looked at my receipt and found that they only used $23.00 of my gift card and left $.94 on it. Why would they do something like that?
