I was there yesterday evening after trick or treating. I ordered on my app for pick up inside, however becuase i changed my order to no onions it reverted back to pick up thru drive through, which was my mistake for not noticing. I went inside to get my order and there were people in there very upset because they were getting ignored at the front register, a father and daughter who ordered nuggets and fries and a large coke took over 30 minutes to get and he was ignored, another man was ignored as well for just a burger and fries. The lady was older with black and gray hair. she came over to me looked up my order and told me it didnt exist and walked away, i was then IGNORED again as well as the other two guys that were in line and had already ordered. Someone came in from break and came and talked to me and found my order after being here for 15 minutes or so now, and said he would start my order, I finally got my order, and as I was walking out the manager goes "Well that was her fault" because my order was thru drive thru and not thru pick up inside. EVEN THO I EXPLAINED TO HER WHAT HAPPENED. I went back inside after she said that and asked her why she would say that while i was walking away, and she tried to turn around to ignore me again. I told her she needed to not work in customer service anymore. I will be contacting corporate. That woman does NOT need a job where she works with people. She was rude, she ignored people on purpose. I even saw her ram herself into the side of the girl who was making fries because she wasnt doing it fast enough. The whole...
Read moreThis is not the McDonald's I grew up with.
I hadn't been in one in a couple years and was disappointed to see not only the ordering done via a kiosk out in the lobby, but now there's no front counterperson at all anymore, no human interaction left at all. I'm told if you want to still order face to face, you have to call out and somebody will come up. Hardly an inviting atmosphere.
After ordering and paying, you get yourself a "table tent" (number) and sit down. The food is then delivered out by one harried looking person, running back and forth.
My food, of course, was wrong and had to be sent back. When the food finally did come the quarter pounder, which is advertised as made fresh, tasted like a 3-day-old burger patty. I didn't finish it.
Two of us had our orders messed up that day, and when you order via a kiosk, it means there's no opportunity for human interaction to be misinterpreted. The orders were put-in right, we could see it on a receipts, they were simply messed up in the back.
I find McDonald's these days cold and heartless, and the food just as bland as ever, the atmosphere was like a well-mopped county jail or maybe a military hospital, clean, sterile, and without taste.
This will likely be my last trip to...
Read moreThe staff ignored not just me, but several other people waiting over 20 minutes for orders. They refused to take my order, even when I politely tried to get their attention after standing there waiting for 5 minutes. I was literally told my the young lady with dyed bright red hair that "we can't take your order right now." She was, of course, standing there basically doing nothing, and she stopped responding to me when I asked for assistance. Another woman who had the slight appearance of a manager (not sure if she was or not, because there didn't appear to be anyone in charge) ignored the exchange. Various workers looked in our direction several times and never made any attempt to even say anything as simple as, "We're busy and will be with you in a minute." There are about 7 or 8 cars in the drive thru, which isn't many, but it's clear they are ignoring customers in the store, all of which openly stated that the staff was ignoring them. Time of (attempted) service: 12:45pm EDT Sunday Sep 21. This is easily. A sub-standard McDonald's operation. By any reasonable account, a normal lunch period on a Sunday. All staff present were...
