extremely disappointed with this location recently. last time i came the employee was very rude and rushing. he took my boyfriend's order than completely skipped mine and just had my boyfriend pay while he walked away to begin working on sandwiches. i understand being understaffed but still is not an excuse to be blatantly rude to customers and not take orders. i ended up waiting in line separately and ordering which caused other customers to leave due to longer wait times. this time i ordered online. once i got to the store i was informed the item i ordered was unable to be made. the options i was given was to wait until monday for the gm to refund it or pick something different on the menu. after i didn’t seem keen on either i was only THEN offered to wait ten minutes so the meat could defrost. why couldn’t the meat be pulled 20 minutes before i arrived when i ordered the sandwich online? why only after i expressed distain for the situation was an accommodation made? got home and my boyfriends sandwich was not on the correct bread. people have allergies, I understand wanting to close and go home but this is absolutely ridiculous and i will be calling monday to...
Read moreI normally love Penn Station. Used to eat at the one in Perrysburg all the time when I lived there. I ordered online at this branch near where I now live and was told 15 min- ok, pretty standard. No problem. When I arrived to pick up my order 25 min after ordering, I was told that my order had been given to someone else by mistake and that it would take another 6 minutes to prepare. ( an obviously new guy behind the counter didn’t really seem up to speed with his order fulfillment) The thing that most distressed me was the fact that none of the employees were wearing masks. What good does it do to sanitize the surfaces as stated in your “about” information, when we know now that Covid is spread by droplets and those preparing the food are breathing on all the food? When I questioned the girl who waited on me as to why none of the staff was masked, she told me she wasn’t vaccinated ( so now this is even worse!) so I said to her I hope you aren’t making my food and she said,”Sh-t if you don’t like it you can leave”. So I did! Very disheartened with your lack of masking policy and unprofessional...
Read moreOut of all the big name sub restaurants in America, Penn Station is the best! My mom and I were staying in Huron for a couple days and decided to eat at Penn Station in Sandusky for dinner bc we never ate at a Penn Station before. They give you your money’s worth! The regular sized sub is comparable size to a footlong sub at Subway and the medium fries were comparable size to an order of large fries at McDonald’s or Burger King. I was so full after eating my sub that I had over half my fries left, so I saved them for later. Staff was friendly as well! The girl who took our order was so friendly and she complimented my mom and me on our matching Joan Jett shirts (she was a fan of her as well). The guy from the kitchen area who I guess was the manager came out and checked on us while we were eating. Penn Station is another go to restaurant for whenever we come up to...
