Del Taco — Restaurant in Perris

I don’t know who it was working the window after midnight last night but she was one of the rudest employees I have ever met. I have been to this Del Taco many times with zero issues, but she was incredibly rude and discriminatory. We came to try the new boxes and were using an EBT card which they accept and have accepted in the past. We had $160 available on it we had money and have NEVER had issues with the card. But last night something was randomly malfunctioning and it wasn’t working. And instead of being understanding she PROCEEDED TO COMPLAIN TO US and BLAMED us for her looking BAD for having to void the transaction and we need to MAKE SURE our money WORKS next time and this is why we DONT normally take EBT. I responded what do you mean we’ve had EBT accepted here you guys don’t actually take it? Because I was so confused at her rude attitude and what she was trying to say. And she responded no WE DO BUT WE DECLINE EBT BECAUSE THEN THIS HAPPENS with so much attitude and judgement in her tone. I am absolutely positive if someone was having an issue with their DEBIT CARD she wouldn’t have said ANYTHING. I was so astounded at this behavior from an establishment I have been coming to for 5 YEARS with 0 issues and will now refuse to come here due to this behavior. To make it sound like it was our fault that something was malfunctioning when we had money and had NEVER had this issue with our EBT was TERRIBLE customer service and discrimination because like I said if it was someone with a Debit or Credit card she wouldn’t have said ANYTHING. It wasn’t someone we recognized that had been there in the past who have always been GREAT workers, but this woman was horrible and needs to be questioned at why she felt it was okay to treat a customer in such a terribly judgmental manner. This originally started July 31 2023, I sent my husband to get taco's per the request of our birthday boy after football practice. We had guests over or I would have gone myself, but anyways he ordered 1 fiesta pack with crunchy shells 3 no cheese and 3 regular and 6 green burritos 3 no cheese and 3 regular, he then orders another fiesta pack with soft tacos 3 no cheese and 3 regular and 6 red burritos 3 no cheese and 3 regular the cashier goes to repeat the order back and it was wrong. My husband stopped him explaining again what he wanted still wrong. Another person comes over and still had to explain a couple more times how we he wanted the order the man got rude and asked if that was it. My husband no. Tried to finish the order and got to the window re-explained the order again only to find out they got the entire order wrong. Called the next morning and thought I spoke with the manager, but now not so sure. She said that if we brought in our receipt that she'll replace our order. Gave her my name and went in today and nothing. The person on duty said no note was left and couldn't do it wouldn't do anything about it. I was excited to move back to southern California because of del Taco only to be repeatedly disappointed in this store! This store is convenient for a quick stop, but I will not be going back to this one. I'll go out of my way and go to the one on 4th. Always great service and...

Went there yesterday at 11:05pm to order my usual egg and cheese breakfast burrito and the lady Brenda answers me and says they don't serve breakfast at that time. I said what do you mean its 11pm and I always order that at that time she said im here too with an attitude and I quickly said your sign says breakfast is from 11pm-11am. Then she quickly changed her tune and accepted it. When I went to the window and paid, I overheard her saying in spanish to the cook "yo trate de decirle que no pero... and gave me the nastiest look with an attitude looking back at me thinking I didn't know spanish because I look white. I didn't say anything back because I respect my elders. Brenda handed me the burrito and it was very skinny with only a little piece of egg and cheese with a lot of grease. I felt bad vibes from it and threw it away in the trash. Usually people there make it bigger for the price. I felt they did it that way because they were lazy to cook the egg and got mad at me for ordering it at that time. You guys could run into legal action by advertising your 11pm-11am breakfast and saying "we do not serve breakfast at this time" when it's already 11pm. Do better by re-training Brenda to have better customer service because she was...
