I've been to this location several times, as there is a Tesla Supercharger just behind it. We usually only get a soda and the avocado and chips, as that's all we trust at this place. However, last night we ordered a side salad without bacon, and a bowl of Southwest Steak and Black Bean Soup . To start with, the host was very nice. He put us in a booth, and brought us water. The server did not arrive, so after 10 minutes, we ordered via the little iPad like device on the table. After 15 minutes, the host came by to explain that our server was very busy. We told him it was no problem, as we had ordered using the table device. We asked that he make sure that bacon was not on the salad. After a while, the salad and soup showed up. Of course, the salad had bacon on it. My wife just picked it off the salad. The soup did not look anything like the picture, including it was in a very small cup, and I could only find one piece of "steak" and three black beans at the bottom. I asked the host, who said "oh, they gave you the tortilla soup". He was very nice, and took it back to the kitchen. After several minutes, a bowl of the same stuff showed up. Our server finally showed up to see if we wanted to order anything else. I showed her the picture of the Southwest Steak and Black Bean Soup, stating that it looks nothing like the picture. She said the same thing, that it was the chicken tortilla soup, without the chicken or tortillas. I then asked for the manager. When I asked the manager the same thing, she said that it was, indeed, the Southwest Steak and Black Bean Soup, and that it does not look like the picture. She said she prepared it herself. It was obvious to me that she put one piece of steak and two black beans in the tortilla soup. The two servers had confirmed this. The manager was caught substituting something and did not want to be caught in the lie. In addition, the place is always filthy . We have been here about four times, typically at night, and it doesn't look like any food that drops on the carpet is ever removed. The bathrooms should be condemned as well. There are plenty of better places to eat in the area. Avoid this place...
Read moreMy recent visit to this Applebee's was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I've ever had. What started with high hopes quickly devolved into a complete and utter disappointment, leaving my entire group frustrated and hungry. The excitement in our group was palpable as we settled in. However, our enthusiasm evaporated with an absurdly long wait time. It took 40 minutes for the very first plate to arrive at our table, and then another 20 minutes passed before the rest of us finally got our food. The staggered delivery was baffling, especially since the dishes were a complete mess when they did show up. When our meals finally appeared, they were a study in culinary failure. All but one of the plates were stone-cold, as if they had been sitting out for ages. One of the dishes was so wet and soupy it looked like it had been rinsed off with a fire hose—it was completely inedible. My own experience was no better. I had ordered a pasta dish, but some of the noodles were still hard and uncooked, a clear sign of a kitchen that simply didn't care. To make matters worse, the plate that arrived last was a different order entirely, despite being the same dish as the one my friend had requested. The lack of attention to detail was staggering. This chaos was perhaps foreshadowed by our server, who was more preoccupied with a phone call than taking our order. She was on the phone with a man throughout our entire interaction, demonstrating a stunning level of unprofessionalism. In the end, our collective meal was terrible. The food was awful, the service was nonexistent, and the entire experience was a monumental letdown. I would not recommend this Applebee's to anyone. Save your time and your money; go...
Read moreOn 03/04/2025, my significant other, sister, daughter, son, and I visited this Applebee's location to grab a bite to eat after a long, emotional day at the hospital during a loved one's major surgery. Prices have definitely increased since our last visit to an Applebee's a few years ago; however, the food was generally enjoyable, except for my son's burger, which still contained ingredients he had specifically requested to be omitted.
Our server, Jaylynne, was pleasant when interacting with us while taking our orders, providing requested to-go containers, and collecting payments. However, she lacked attentiveness during our meal as she was preoccupied with chatting about personal topics, such as not vaccinating her child, with guests at the bar. This discussion seemed inappropriate for a restaurant environment.
Upon receiving my bill, I noticed it was higher than expected. After a closer examination, I found a $16.99 charge for an item that no one at our table had ordered. The waitress apologized for the error, removed the charge, and mentioned her confusion about the item's presence in the pickup area. Although she claimed it was an accident, one of my family members who has worked in the hospitality industry for several years expressed doubts about how such a mistake could easily occur. I typically make a point of tipping generously when dining out, but due to this experience, I chose not to tip our waitress. This is the first time I've made such a decision in...
