Five Guys — Restaurant in Petaluma

From inflight magazines to what some dude on the street said in '96, their reviews are everywhere which is odd...since you're already inside the restaurant while you read them. Is this for validation? Is it so people feel like..."yeah, I made the right choice".

This location is like others but the staff here go the extra mile. At 9:30, right before closing, they loaded up the fryer with fresh fries for a family of four after the cook saw there were old fries out.

Try their Cajun fries if you're not making out with anyone after. Or if you are, make sure they share...

I’ve changed my initial ratings to all 5/5 rating because their burgers and Cajun fries are absolutely delicious! Their staff is always friendly and always try to communicate even if there’s a slight communication barrier. After my first review, someone actually responded with kind words and even discussed my hot dog/Chicago Celery Salt request. I’ve been coming here more often because it’s a great place to relax for lunch. I totally get why you give more fries—it’s a thoughtful gesture, but maybe a $1 discount to simply fill the fry cup without extra fries in the bag? You could call it fries-lite or lite-fries…I usually get the $5.00 for the drink and fries, and then I end up throwing half the dumped fries out…just a...

Thought I would try Five Guys for dinner, I had a loaded cheeseburger, small fry and a coffee milkshake. The total was $16.87 before taxes. Unfortunately this is one of the worst hamburger restaurant meals I have ever had. The milkshake was just slightly thick milk, almost as if there wasn't any ice-cream in it. The fries were so salty that I couldn't eat them, and I like salt! The hamburger was a double patty with cheese and was pretty filling but, it was pretty flavorless except for the too sweet bun and the occasional dill pickle. Not sure how an "all the way" burger can be so bland.

I would be really disappointed if this were a $9.00 fast food meal. I am totally ticked off that this cost me almost $17.00!...
