09/23/2023, ordered lunch menus Mongolian beef, quality of beef were hard, chewy and not fresh. Disappointed from previous visit from 4-Stars down to 2-Stars. I expect quality over quantity.
10/24/2023, @ 12:05PM, As my sister and I sat by the window table, 3 tables away from us there were group of 4 mens seated and one of the man seem to be leader of the group in his early 60's, kept talking loud on his cellphone for more than 5-minutes and seems wouldn't stop so my sister went up to cashier David (who is the owner of the restaurant) to tell the man to quite down or step outside to talk on cellphone but instead of telling, David "The Chicken Owner" went back into kitchen for few minutes. Reason I'm mentioned this episode is cause about year ago I received phone call my cell and as I was speaking in soft voice, David "The Chicken Owner" told me to step outside and talk, but this time he could not do it. Restaurant should have a sign stating no cellphone use while inside of restaurant except in emergency use. Today my sister had her usual non-spicy Mongolian beef with steam rice and Mongolian beef tasted terrible (fishy taste) and I had Princess Chicken which were also horrible, even Panda Express were better and lot cheaper.
Grading for this visit; Food taste --------------- 1- star Food quality -------------2- star Customer service------1-star Ambience -----------------1-star This visit was the worst and will be our last.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CHINESE EATERY DUE TO RUDE MANNERED CHICKEN OWNER AND INCONSISTENT FOOD...
Read moreOne of the best Chinese restaurants we have ever been too. We walked in and were immediately impressed with the nice atmosphere. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming to our large family and quickly seated us. We ordered from the lunch menu and there were plenty of options. Each lunch entree comes with rice or chow melin, an appetizer, and soup. The soup was so flavorful and unlike any soup we have ever had before. The broth was a wonderful taste and had my young children asking for more. Our orders came quickly and we were very pleased at the size of the plates. For my husband and I and our 5 children we ordered 4 entrees and it was more than enough food for us all. And wow! Each dish was spectacular! Chinese food is usually so sweet but the dishes that were sweet had the perfect balance between sweet and savory and spicy. There was never an overly sweet bite. We ordered broccoli beef, princess chicken, Mongolian beef (my personal favorite) and garlic pork with chow mein and fried rice. Serisouly, each dish was so tasty. There weren't any complaints. My husband who has spent months in China remarked that it tasted very similar to the food he had but much tastier. The only thing I wish is that this restaurant was closer to home (we are just passing through the area). We will most definitely be returning if we...
Read moreI rated them high in all areas, so why 2 stars? Been coming here, mostly for lunch, for over 3 years. This last visit, I arrived at 3:03pm. Lunch is 11-3. I asked if I could still get lunch. The guy said "lunch is over". He's seen me well over a dozen times. I wasn't 15 min past, I was 3. I've been involved in hospitality in one form or another, on & off, for 53 years, this is not what you do to a regular customer. A restaurant is different than a grocery store, which needs to have a pretty hard "close" time. Restaurants to if a kitchen is closing down for end of day clean up. This was lunch and the kitchen was not cleaning up. So, went to the competition across the way from City Chopsticks and was happily greeted. Very good...
