BonBons Rolled Ice Cream — Restaurant in Pflugerville

Great choice to make this fun for the kids. Lots of options + not just rolled ice for those not interested in the theater but the kids loved watching them make it. Staff friendliness is exceptional. Like above and beyond friendly. Perhaps the friendliest I’ve encountered in the whole Austin area. The rolled ice cream is delicious and VERY reasonably priced given how much this area has increased in the last few years. We got a Strawberry and Nutella rolled ice cream and a caramel one and both were delicious, perfect consistency and flavors were great. This used to be owned by kind Hispanic mom and pop. It’s gone downhill since they sold it. I sent my kiddo in to buy his ice cream (the last time the Indian guy was a bit creepy). The wait time is always long. I waited about 25 min to get my order…again. The guy had said 10 min. My son also stated the guy told him to put down 15% tip when paying. I’m glad my son was smart enough to skip the tip. The Indian guy is a bit unusual. We have been going here since it opened so sad dynamics have changed. The ice creams we did get were good. However we did have to wait 40 minutes for 3 of our 5 ice creams. 2 ice creams for the group that ordered after us were made before ours. When we saw him making the second one, we asked if we could just get a refund as it had been 30 minutes and he skipped our order. He said he was going to make ours and to give him 5 minutes. He made one that should have been ours but handed it to someone that ordered 2 groups after us. He gave us one more and we asked again if we could just get a refund.
