Overall 3āļøāļøāļø.. (**Note - 2 weeks later 05/26/2025 and not one person from management has reached out with so much as an apology definitively the worse Motherās Day dinner would have been better to have just cooked at home.)
Let me first start off with the service and atmosphere. Went today 05/11/2025 which is Motherās Day. I was so hoping for a nice dinner and conversation hence going to a hibachi grill. Well when arrive and greeted by a lovely young lady and sat us within a minute of arriving. The table we were sat at had already ordered their drinks and were in the process of ordering their meals. This did not deter us as we already knew what we wanted to order so when the young lady came around to us, she politely asked us what we wanted to drink, and to give us a minute to look over the menu whereas we replied, we already know what we want so she took our order. I ordered combination, chicken and steak with steak cooked medium, and the young waitress even repeated the order and went on to take the rest of the groupās order. Now they cook comes out and proceeds to ask each individual regarding the order to confirm. When the cook got to me, he asked me chicken steak steak medium, and I replied yes medium and There were several of us in the group that ordered steak one ordered, I ordered medium and three others ordered medium well and I believe one ordered well. So as heās gotten to the part where he cooks the steaks, he cooks the young ladies medium rare hands to then he proceeds to cook the other three the medium well and then I noticed he forgot me, cause I shouldāve been after the medium rare well, thereās two steaks left the one that was supposed to be well done and mine. The one that was supposed to be medium Now at this point I already know that heās over cooking my steak because my steak sitting there on the grill still cooking on one side he proceeds to put the steak on my plate, however by this time, I didnāt even really want the steak, but I went ahead and let him put the steak on my plate. As this was Motherās Day, I didnāt want to cause too much of a fuss so I didnāt say anything now I didnāt eat it because it looked too overcooked. As far as the food taste all the food did taste good had good flavor. So will I be back to this restaurant, probably. I will give them a second chance, but thatās all I give a restaurant is a second chance. First I ask if we could sit in front after we were sat on the side. āNo because other people may come and we need to sit themā I thought, ok well we were here first...ā so I moved us so much son could watch the hibachi. I felt it was a little rushed when the cook came and our appetizer, soup, salad, and drinks had t arrived. I tell them this and they looked so confused. I tried to cancel our appetizers since the meal was about to be cooked and instead of listening to me I was talked over explaining it was all coming. I couldnāt even cancel them so we are munching as he is putting food on one plates. My beer came after all this happened.
Hibachi Meal comes with soup, salad, rice (fried for $ or steamed) a shrimp appetizer, and veggies. By the time our rice and veggies were done my steak and calamari was cold. (Both over cooked) the shrimp appetizer was served after the meal was done and the guys didnāt even do the onion choo choo train which is my sons favorite part.
I pay, however as Iām leaving I decide I canāt pay $140 and not say anything. Again, weāve been here before and we knew the price range for what we get so I wasnāt shocked at the price only shocked at the service. $140 for 45 min?? I asked for the manager and he doesnāt even listen. He keeps talking over me, explains they were short a cook and at that point I could tell he didnāt understand why I was complaining. He keeps telling me next time he will give me 10% off. I keep explaining Iām not trying to get a discount otherwise I wouldāve said something before we paid and tipped. He still talks over me yet tells me he will relay to his GM. When I asked when his GM was working (because this convo is going nowhere) he tells me Friday. (Itās Sunday.) I eventually get a card with her name but DANG!

Usually I can appreciate fast service, but Iāve never felt so rushed in my life. Everyone was seated around the habachi @ the same time (8 ppl) & before I could sit down he quickly took drink orders. I politely asked for 2minutes to review the menu. He seemed annoyed but maintained a smile while saying āsprite or Dr Pepper?ā I just ordered a water so that he could move on. He quickly returned with drinks & immediately wanted to take entree meal orders. I was never given the opportunity to order an appetizer. All of this happened within less than 5min of being seated. I dared not ask questions about the menu for fear of getting more āhurry up!ā attitude. My steak tasted of pure butter, & absolutely nothing else. The taste of butter was over powering! In fact, The only flavor I tasted on my chicken, shrimp & steak was the taste of the grill smoke & butter, nothing else. Overall, I didnāt enjoy the experience or the food. I didnāt bother eating my meal @ the table, but instead opted to grab the bill & pack my food to go as soon as the hibachi chef finished. We never got a refill so I asked for a to go Dr. Pepper. Donny brought me an empty cup to pour my childās half full soda w/ melted ice into the cup, instead of giving me a fresh drink.The other 2 families seated among us followed my lead & asked for their checks, packed up their food & left at the same time as me. I guess they felt the same. They also had a habit of reaching over us & repeatedly removing dishes of food that were clearly still in use. I will say that the chef & the greeter were very nice. I couldāve saved myself @ least $50 bucks more & went next door to Chiliās. I...
