I went to this store to pick up an item I ordered online that stated it would be ready āwithin two hoursā. I waited two hours as the online order stated and I never got confirmation that my order was ready. I drove to this store around 8:40ish p.m. and went to Customer Service to inquire if my order was ready for pickup, and the young lady proceeded to ask me questions about the order. She first stated they didnāt have the staff to fill the online orders. Then stated they could not find the order number in the system. Iām showing her my email account so she could see the order number. She insisted that I go to aisle G36 and get the item I needed and bring it back to Customer Service. At this point Iām thinking Iām filling my own order because I really needed this item because it was gift for a friend. I should also say that I already paid for this item online. So I proceeded back to Customer Service with the item and the young lady scanned the item and she did a price match because the item online was cheaper. Then she asked me for the money. I stated to her that I already paid for item online, why am I paying again. She gets another young lady she proceeds to ask me for my online order number again I gave it to her thinking it would be an easy fix. She tells me the order was canceled at the very same time I ordered the item online. I asked should I get an email if the order was canceled? She said yes. I showed her my email account on my phone and stated I never got it. She proceeded to ask did I want to pay for the item again and I said no. Thatās really hard to believe. As I politely left this store upset, because I used a service that promised to have an item I ordered and paid for that shouldāve been ready within two hours. I had to deal with excuses and lies and as I am walking away I hear the young ladies laughing and snickering. Target you may consider doing things a bit different or put a disclaimer in your software to state the items you are ordering may not be available within two hours due to situations beyond our control. I applaud Target East, as they provided me with service as promised without...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been looking for a new waffle maker and while in store saw the one I had been looking at on Amazon. Knowing that Target price-matches I decided to grab it in store. I pulled up the waffle maker and item number on Amazon, logged into my account (I am a prime member), to have ready for the cashier to price match. Once there I showed the cashier and was told rather rudely that she could not price match because they do not price match to Amazon Prime, they only price match to Amazon because āAmazon Prime is a subscription that delivers to your houseā. I notified her that I have price matched before without an issue being logged into my prime account but I proceeded to log out of my account. I then showed her that even without prime the price of the waffle maker was still the same. I was still refused price match. I requested to speak to a lead. Once the lead arrived I was told again that they cannot price match to Amazon Prime only Amazon. I showed her that I was no longer logged into my prime account and showed her the price. She then told me that looking on her own Target device the item was not sold by Amazon. I showed her my Amazon again showing the item available, matching all barcodes and numbers. Again I was refused and notified that all price matches have to be located on their own Target devices and cannot be from a Prime Member of Amazon. Prior to todayās encounter this had never been the case. All policies I have seen on the Target website state to show ad or listed price online. Nothing about it has to be pulled up on a Target device or not being a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter living out of state for the past 6 months, I canāt believe the chaos that this store has turned into. There were clothes off the hangers and just piled on top of the racks, everything was so messy, and to top it off, Terri at self check-out was INCREDIBLY rude. First, the self checkout machine flagged a mucinex purchase, and my husband said āexcuse meā to her since she was bent down next to our area cleaning up. She didnāt stop what she was doing, but finally came up to help him and just stared at him like he was an idiot instead of reading the screen to see what was needed. Then, I had a pair of shorts ring up full price when the app showed them as clearance. We had to flag her down again because she was not paying attention, and my husband mentioned that they rang up incorrectly. She says, āDo you see what it says RIGHT THERE under the price?ā She was referring to the fine print that said āwhen purchased online.ā I hadnāt seen that, but regardless, I told her I thought they priced matched. She said, āWe do, but what Iām saying is both prices are right.ā Then sighed and made a big deal about the adjustment. She made me scan the item again right in front of her even though the picture was clearly exactly what was sitting on the counter, I guess to try to catch me in a lie like I was trying to steal a full price pair of shorts or something. I cannot fathom how this woman ended up in customer service, but Target would be doing all of their customers a disservice by keeping her in a...
