Alma De Mexico — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I ordered takeout from this New Mexican spot in society hill. They told me 20 minutes on the phone, I arrived 25 min later to pick up my meal and it’s clear they had forgotten about my order and quickly slapped together my burrito while I waited (observed this directly).

Could have been forgiven and still received 4/5 stars, but the burrito was fairly flavorless. There also was hardly any rice in the burrito, was overwhelmed by the other ingredients and very skinny. I like to leave feedback for new spots in the hopes they take the constructive criticism and improve. I will definitely try this again in a couple months and happy to bump my rating up if my experience is...

I’m so happy this place is in the neighborhood! Natalio was a fantastic and friendly server. We ordered the guacamole and the molcajete. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into.
