My family wanted to have a pizza night and so my uncle ordered food for all of us. A large pizza half plain half pepperoni with buffalo wings. Now my family has been fans of their restaurant for awhile. There food is good and can’t complain about service because the owner is really nice and shows us his appreciation every time we order. Although today was supposed to be fun we found a fingernail inside the skin of one of the buffalo wings. The amount of disgust and vile terror that emanated from my body was that of a horror film. I was petrified, there should be no reason why the cooks should have this level of disrespect for their craft and the food they serve to others. I know this sounds like a full Karen mode but I think it’s reasonable. I wish this was fake but it is not. So as of today September 30, 2020 my family and I will not be ordering from them again for our own safety. I mean it’s terrifying if this happened when there wasn’t a pandemic but now that COVID-19 is once agin on the rise in Philadelphia this is EXTREMELY TERRIFYING! Workers should be wearing masks at all times and cooks should be as well and they should be wearing gloves when preparing food. They should not have access to touching their face or mouth and they definitely should not be allowed to preform any form of personal hygiene at work let alone inside of a kitchen!! I wish I could give...
Read moreI ordered from here a total of 3 times but this last order is our final one. The food is okay at best. The pizza is pan pizza, which is not my favorite type of pie. The ham and cheese hoagie is a disappointment with very little ham. The cheese steaks are average. Fries not good either. That being said they deliver fast so even though we were not impressed we placed a $40 order again today because we were hungry. When the driver arrived I gave him the money and then he says we are out of Coke so I brought you Pepsi. Now NO one at our house drinks Pepsi. I mention this to the driver and he says they told him to just bring Pepsi we will take it. This set me back a bit since when I specifically asked if they had Coke the answer was yes. I asked why didn't they just call and tell us they don't have Coke and ask us what kind we prefer. The driver says I dunno they said you would take it. I ask if they will send me a different bottle of soda and the driver says probably not. I ask for and get my money back. I tell the driver please have someone give me a call with what type of soda you have. One hour later no call and we order elsewhere. I refuse to pay for something that I didn't order and do not want. If this place cannot even bother to care if the order is right and then can't be bothered to fix their mistake I can't be bothered to order from...
Read moreWe visited Angelo's while in Philly for a game. Angelo's per reviews had the best pizza and subs due to they make their own bread. Upon arriving, there was a line to get into place your order. There were quite a few people just waiting outside for their orders as well. The location is pretty small, so you are definitely squeezed in like sardines. Lol. There were two ladies taking orders. They were very nice, even in the chaos. I asked if they took online orders, and the answer was no. You can only come in or call in your order. I can tell you that the location is too busy to answer a phone (so good luck with that). We ordered pizza and subs to try both. We were given a 20 min time-frame. We went back to the car to wait. After about 15 mins we went back in, and the order was ready. The pizza was pretty decent. I hate to say that our subs were not correct. It had toppings that we did not ask for and missing toppings we asked for. It is very noisy in there with multiple people ordering at once, workers calling out names for orders etc. The lady taking the orders did repeat it as I ordered, but they were all wrong. I just did not have time to go back through that whole process to get it corrected. I am glad I went to try them out, I probably...
