One of the newest and hottest joints to open since COVID and it's definitely worth it to pay this place a visit! Newly opened right after a long pandemic, and everything about this store is awesome. it's a great refreshing place to grab some dessert/drinks after dinner (or whenever). It's a franchise (1 of the only 2 stores in Philly) where they specialize in everything mango! (and other things, haha)
Food/Drinks: The star category of this place. As the name suggests, they have a variety of desserts and drinks that mostly include mango though also have other fruits like strawberry and dessert goodies like jellies, sago/pomelo, crepes, mochi, and more! The presentation is amazing and I guess everything that comes out is picture-worthy. I had their strawberry and mango smoothie, and I think it included aloe jelly on the bottom, really making this drink fantastic. Almost every item is $5-10, which I think its worth it. I highly recommend the Snow White Mango Juice with ice cream; all these ingredients just blend together so well!
Environment: This is what makes this store unique and special, especially in the NE area. It's a small mom & pop owned store and they went above and beyond to make this place look appealing and comfortable with super cute decor. Compared to other stores in the area, you know they really want to make sure us customers enjoy where we are at. Finally, the staff here is very attentive (I guess they must be since it's a small store). They make sure you're taken care of.
Rating: 9/10 Pros: Trendy cute spot, desserts/drinks are great! Cons: Small and kind of out of the way unless you live around the area! Recommendations: Snow White Mango Juice with ice cream, strawberry mango smoothie, any...
Read moreI recently visited Mango Mango Dessert, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The place was quite crowded when we arrived, which I took as a good sign, but we only had to wait a few minutes before getting a table. The seating area is clean and comfortable, making it a nice spot to relax and enjoy dessert. The presentation of the dishes was impressive — everything looked fresh and neatly arranged, almost too pretty to eat. I tried one of their mango desserts, and while the mango itself wasn’t overly sweet, it still paired well with the rest of the ingredients. I think the slight tartness actually balanced the flavors nicely, so it wasn’t overwhelming.
We also ordered bubble tea, which was surprisingly good. The tea had a smooth, rich flavor, and the tapioca pearls were cooked perfectly — soft but still chewy. It’s definitely a drink I would order again.
The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive without being overbearing, which made the experience more enjoyable. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering the quality and the fact that there’s no real competitor nearby, it feels somewhat justified. Overall, Mango Mango Dessert is a good place to treat yourself...
Read moreI was looking for something lite and sweet and came across this establishment. I was able to find street parking directly in front of the business. I don’t think finding street parking will be hard as there is typically space. We were greeted by a young man at the register who showed us the menu behind him and in the counter. Everything was so colorful and there were so many options I couldn’t choose. Selecting a crepe was the easy part because I had no clue what some things were on the menu for the dessert bowls. The young man behind the register was very patient with me as I had a few questions about some of the ingredients since I hadn’t heard of them before. Boy, he was so amazing!!! Whatever it was that I ordered was great. It had the mango slushee which was sweet and tasted like mango puréed juice, mangos, strawberries and other fruits (I feel like I tasted grapes that had been chopped up but whatever they were they were sweet and good). There were also small boba balls (not sure of exact name) but everything about this dessert...
