I just came from rib rack and I was very disappointed with my dinner. I have been to rib rack many times before and this was the first time I was disappointed. I went for the early bird special and this time it was very different than the other times that I have gone for the early bird special. The other times that I have ordered a early bird the corn muffins came out first in a basket and then i got my meal later. Today I got a small plate with everything crammed on the plate including a corn muffin there was no room left on the plate. Now if this was the first time I’ve been to the restaurant and this is how the early bird usually comes I probably would have been fine but this was never how I was served early bird special. I also didn’t get the normal Slice of watermelon that I’m used to getting with my. meal. Which i asked about it to the waitress who stated that it doesn’t come with the early bird specials. Which is very strange to me because I have always gotten it with the early birds or normal dinners. I’ve seen other dinner guests get the watermelon with the early bird specials as well. I don’t know if this is a new rule but I don’t think customers should be treated any different at your restaurant just because there having an early bird special. I also have a problem with you having a sign that says Early bird specials on Monday Thru Friday from 3:30 pm to 5pm yet every time I’ve gone to rib rack for the early bird special I’ve always had to ask for it i was never offered as an option. A long-time customer of rib rack I have gone all different times and I always was treated the same whether I was having an early bird or not today was the first day it was very different. If this is a rule change please consider because I think you’ll be...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars, I would have. We have been going to this place for years after Rib-it closed down in the area. We used to order the beef ribs he-man racks and the portions were generous. About a year ago they had warned us that they had changed the portions of the platters. That should've been a red flag for me. They claimed it was better quality meat and you still got a lot. We used to get everything in tin foil trays. The portions were huge. The last time we ordered the he-man rack, those bastards literally robbed us. If I would've checked and saw the size of those tiny beef ribs, I would not have purchased it PERIOD! Everything was literally half the size of what it used to be, including the baked potatoes. The bones on the ribs were tiny and honestly the rib meat was average as it used to be. There's a reason there are 5 star ratings on here without any explanation. to make up for the unsatisfied costumers who gave lower ones whom noticed the drastic changes of the portions. It's bad enough they took the onion loaf off the menu, and now this hogwash?!?!? Stay away from this place! I don't know if the management changed or what. But they've lost a customer forever! I'll go to NY for some beef ribs from now on. They have plenty of places. Anytime a person has to travel to another city for something in my city should've provided, then you know it's pretty bad! I'd rather take the Acela to Manhattan round trip and pay for my meal and spend that amount of money than to ever...
Read moreSaturday 4/25/20, placed order over the phone for Curbside Pick-up. Order Cry & Fry Basket among other dishes. I gave $40.00 for $27.00 order, waited approximately three minutes for the girl to come back with my change. Which she didn’t.
After knocking on the door asking for my change she state, “ Oh, we ask for the exact change.” Lies! I guess I was suppose to let them keep my $13.00. I only checked for the corn muffin before pulling off, being that its a small item that could be forgotten. Which it was.
I get home and to discover that the Cry & Fry Basket was only fries. I called and the the person on the other end refuse to put the manager and owner. Was very sarcastic stating, “What do you want me to do; refund your $1.50 cent it’s only four onion rings. We ran out of onion rings.”
I should have received a call back letting me know this. I called back requesting to speak to the owner; who is always there. When the young lady informed him that he was wanted on the phone. I heard him say, “Tell her I am not here.” She went to do as told by her boss. I formed her that I know he is there being I can hear both of them talking.
The owner of Rib Rack should not hide behind his employees. He put his need first instead of finding out what his customer wanted.
He truly showed: Poor Customer...
