Now that the store has been opened for a good few months, I finally have a good grasp on the pros and the cons! First of, I am so incredibly happy to have this type of store in my neighborhood!!!! Closest Whole Foods is in Jenkintown and that’s a solid one hour trip at the minimum with the drive to, shopping and drive from. Sprouts is 6 min drive from my house!!! Pros: The store is clean, organized and properly stocked. There are no boxes hanging around on the floor or odd items to trip on in the aisles. The store is relatively small. I don’t think I have ever stood in line there. You’re in and out within minutes. The selection is limited BUT it’s sufficient. It’s easy to make substitutions from what’s offered. The selection of organic produce is pretty good. The sushi is FRESH and they are always well stocked. They have a great selection of grass fed dairy. That is mainly what I shop for there. There is always parking very close to the store.
Cons: It is EXPENSIVE. I want to say it’s probably more expensive than Whole Foods. That said, I do see more and more deals every week and in this economy, it’s a welcome sight! Sometimes, there is not a soul in the store at the cash registers, especially at night. If you need a bag or help with an item, you literally have to go searching for someone.
Other than that, aside from the prices, I couldn’t be more happy to have Sprouts nearby. I wish it was more affordable so I could do my entire shopping there and support them that way. Unfortunately due to pricing I opt to get my groceries at a nearby Aldi and supplement what I need at Sprouts with a few specialty items I buy on...
Read moreI was very elated to see that there was a Sprouts located here in the Northeast ! I've been to others in NJ ,so I was expecting to receive the same great customer service !
The store itself is very clean ,organized, and has great prices for the average consumer .
I was disappointed in the level of unconcerned, rudeness, and laziness presented to me by one of the deli/ meat workers. He had no issues greeting a woman who was dressed with booty shorts on ,however when I asked about the pricing of Salmon he rolled his eyes tucked his teeth and spike to me condescending with a reply ! I refuse to receive that treatment so after I asked for 4 pieces of salmon to be wrapped up he almost threw them over the counter to me.
I asked for a manager and stated how I was a Gpogle reviewer and he needs training on how to deal with a consumer in customer service.
I saw him roll his eyes and get upset at another female employee when she stated the pricing was incorrect on the labels for the frozen fish . I am thankful for Joseph taking my complaint and for addressing the issue with the other manager .
I did enjoy the rest of my shopping experience and I came home and cooked both the cilantro lime salmon and the other one along with, homemade plantains...
Read moreI was initially very excited that a new Spouts is opening close to my house since I used to go to the Dresher location. I have both good and bad things to say about this store. I personally like that it’s a smaller store so I can be in and out fast. They carry a lot of organic and natural foods similar to Whole Foods. Their prices are a bit on the high side but definitely try to stock up when things go on sale! Oftentimes, the items don’t ring up right especially when they’re on sale so I have to go back for a refund. Not very convenient. I also feel like the food is not being managed well. Sometimes the produce is not in good condition like mold, green/sprouting potatoes, etc. Most of the employees are not the friendliest or helpful. They like yapping and not paying attention to customers. Also, lately I’ve noticed that there’s barely a single cashier. They expect most to use self checkout. Customer service is MAJORLY lacking at this store. There is no customer service desk or manager so if there is any kind of issue you have to go and speak to the regular employees who may or may not be able to help you. Overall, this store is ok but could be so much better if these issues are worked on. Corporate please look into...
