I never write reviews, but my experience was so traumatic that I had to say something. My family decided to grab dinner here because we were craving Cantonese food. However, we immediately regretted it. The service was terrible, actually terrible is an understatement. As soon as we sat down, the server brought us dirty bowls and spoons, and we kindly asked him to replace them with clean ones, which he did. We ordered Beijing duck, and my sister was excited for the duck, only to find a piece of hair in it. Safe to say, all of us completely lost our appetite after that. We told the server about the hair, but he didn’t seem to care. Then they messed up our order and brought out the wrong fish, only to make up an excuse and tell us that the fish we ordered wasn’t suitable for the sauce it came with. Just BS. The server was completely indifferent toward our complaints. No apology, no nothing. We’re not difficult customers, we always try to be understanding. And forget about the food, not even worth mentioning, very underwhelming. Half of the dishes were left untouched. We just wanted to leave ASAP. When the bill came, the server demanded that we pay in cash. The total came to about $220. Despite everything, my mom still gave them a tip…Honestly, if it was up to me, I didn’t want to tip a single penny. Mind you, I’ve always been a generous tipper and usually tip at least 20%. Just when we thought our experience couldn’t get any worse, as we were leaving, the server chased us out the door saying we didn’t pay enough!!! At the table, my mom counted the cash twice in front of me to make sure it was right. They lied and said we were short $20!!! THE AUDACITY!!! I’M SPEECHLESS!!! My mom didn’t have the energy to argue with them so she just gave them the extra $20. If I could give a -1 star I would. Never coming here again. WORST...

Indoor dining review

My friends and co-workers used to come here every month for Dim Sum, when we have our monthly get together. I decided to go back this past weekend. The food, the service has always been consistent. Let's be honest, this is by no means a 5 star fine dining restaurant. It is a place where a lot of local communities hang out, chill and have some good food.

Restaurant: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Parking: Street Parking

Restaurant itself is a bit rundown. Tables, chairs and utensils have seen better days, but they are at least clean. Restaurant has a very homey feel to it, yes it is a bit cramp depending on where you sit.

Service has always been great, the owner is always very friendly, and will accommodate you anyway he can, waiters and waitress are very helpful. Again, do not expect fine dining type of service, but it is a lot better than some of the full service restaurants I have been to.

Food here has always been good, which is the main reason why we keep going back. Temperatures are perfect, flavors are on point.

Overall a good restaurant with great food, if you crave or wanted to try some authentic...

The service was alright but does not cover the food that was cold. Not hot not warm but COLD. Their were scraps of food all over the floor as if they were too lazy to vaccum the floor. When I came here it was not as busy so no excuses should be made on how filthy it was. Flies were present around the food. The price was affordable and I can’t complain on that end. I did not leave tip due to its conditions plus no cash but a worker chased me out the door to leave one. I said I had no cash and I paid with card. He then told me to leave it on my card. Pathetic. So I forced myself to go back and the owner lectured me as to why I didn’t leave one. Tips are left in show appreciation for the food and service. But I was forced to give one. Please do...

My family and I used to frequent this spot whenever we were in Northeast Philly. They had $5 rice platters for lunch special. It included a free soup with the lunch special. It was honestly unbeatable price for the service. However, we visited a couple of days ago. The rice platters were $8 each. They no longer offer free soup. The rice portions was bigger and the meat portions were smaller. My go-to is usually beef and brocolli but they also changed up the cut of meat so the meat texture also went down a bit. I would still go but there are other options nearby.
