Bill's Family Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I have ordered from Bill's for over 6 years now, It was the only pizza store in the area I would order from. As of today, I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN. My Mother called to order pizza today while I was at work and she was told, Bill's will no longer deliver to my house because we shorted the driver 3 times!! This news was unbelievable to me!! I tip very well, always have, because my family ran a pizza store for many years and I know the driver's basically work for tips. I also know how deliveries work and how the end of shift cash out works, it is impossible to pin point a shortage of numerous delivers. Furthermore, why would no one call or knock back on the door??? You never leave a door before counting the $$, that's delivery 101! I called Bill's today to ask all of these questions and was continuously hung on because they could not answer how they came to the conclusion it was my address. I asked to speak to the driver, since her only reply to my questions were that's what the driver told me, I was told he wasn't there, I asked if he was on shift later because I'd like to know why I am basically being accused of thieft after 6 years and was told, I will be arrested if I come in. Pizza steak, onion rings and wings in honey bar be que were in this delivery. The steak was delicious. Someone in another review had mentioned the steak reminded them of cheesesteaks from time gone by. Didn't really understand what was meant by that comment, until now. First off that roll was perfect. Crusty outer, soft inner, making Philadelphians proud of what foods we have contributed. Red sauce, ( gravy), shared a delicious combo of sweet with spice. Real beef, not compressed board, perfect amount of spices. Very well done. I was told to try the onion rings and again no disappointment there. Not soggy at all, great homemade batter, very crisp, using sweet or Vidalia onion. The wings were a great compliment.

First timer to Bills. Will not be my last. I did read some negative reviews prior to this order and have to say the reason they didn't stop me was some of them appeared fake. Usually I've found that a company that has a negative review from someone who has only posted 1 review in a few years time needs to be looked at as suspicious. That's all I'm saying on that.

If I could give zero stars I would.

I have now ordered from here 3 times since I moved back and wow has this place changed. Complete downfall. I come at the scheduled pick up time and each time am told to come back in 10 and it will be ready. Sure no problem. Each time came back in 10-15 and had to still wait 45 minutes each time. First order 2 large cheese pizzas, second order two HOAGIES(this took over an hour and they messed up one hoagie had to come back and still had to wait over 45 minutes) last time, today, over an hour & 15 for a pizza and cheesesteak. When we asked for a refund because we weren’t waiting any longer because people who came in and ordered in front of us got their food faster than us. We were told to call the company. We ordered off bills website and it says if issues contact store. He then wouldn’t give us a full refund.
