Chickie's & Pete's — Restaurant in Philadelphia

We ordered from Chickie’s & Pete’s Robbins Ave for the second time this past Saturday 7/31/2020 and through Door Dash. On the Door Dash side of this review, I requested a call or text when the delivery driver arrived. Instead, I received an app notification that my food was delivered. When I opened the door, the order was sitting on my doormat. The bag was soaked and torn. I could not even pick it up and and to tear the bag at it’s side to access the items. I took pictures and reported it to Door Dash right away

Now the food: The seafood platter my wife ordered was placed upside down and leaked all over the other food items beneath it. I am allergic to seafood and would not have expected my wings (which are on the expensive side) to be covered is seafood sauté sauce. The plastic container is not leak proof so I could not eat my $27 dollar wings.

My 2 ordered of their famous crabbie fries were so soggy that they didn’t even seem to have been cooked, just defrosted. For spending $98 on a meal we could have purchased elsewhere for a lot less, I am furious. There is no place within the Door Dash app to contact or complain directly to the food service provider, so I was only able to complain to DD directly. They gave me a $13 credit for 2 orders of crabby fries ($8 each) and my order of wings ($27)

I received no follow up at all from this C&P location, so I will never order again from Chickies & Pete’s again....

Food was delicious! Not a thing wrong with it, there customer service? Horrible! I called to place an order for pick up. The lady was very rude and impatient. My husband went to pick up and the man at the door said “can’t you read the sign? You have to go to the side door”. My husband didn’t see the sign because of the way he walked up. Sign is on the other side not at the front of the door. My husband than went to the side and one of the waitress yelled at him because his mask wasn’t over his mouth yet but he did not enter the building yet, he then proceeded to say “I thought it was side door pick up” (he didn’t wanna was in the building of course) the lady then got very rude with him and pretty much told him she wasn’t serving him. There are better ways to say things other than getting nasty and this is your job? Do you think I will recommend anyone here? Do you think I’ll be back? No thank you... they need to get rid of her and get...

Last month me and my husband went here and the food was delicious an the service was good. We didn’t have to wait too long for a waiter/waitress to come to our table. But yesterday was our date night and we chose to eat here again this time was different. We sat at our table for about 30 minutes and not one waiter/waitress came over to take our order or ask are we being help already. It wasn’t that busy because the table near us had a waiter and waitress come to their table. When the people near us left no one still didn’t come over. So I try to get her attention while she was cleaning the table near us but I just she didn’t hear or didn’t care but the people at table the over in the corner heard us so I know she did.
