UPDATE: Unfortunately had not so great experience today. I came in for a lunch special and ordered the non-spicy soy garlic wings. The chicken itself was great again, BUT the wings were quite spicy for me. I gave some to try to my friend who handles spice better, and she confirmed that although not super spicy, they definitely were spicy. I came to the person behind the counter to ask about it, and she said “yes, a few people have been saying they are spicy”. I asked politely that they note “mildly spicy” on their menu since they have different spice levels on it already. I was told “it’s just a few though” in a pretty condescending tone. I don’t get why not note it if you are getting customer feedback, and why be condescending? I wasn’t being rude or demanding:(

Anyway, only could eat a few pieces which if you like spicy would be great. But I don’t so that was a bit of a bummer :(

I still recommend the chicken, but I hope owners can see this review and update the menu. Also, be warned if you are going in that some items are spicy even though they are not marked.

ORIGINAL: Honestly, the best fried chicken in UniCity. Yes, better than Bonchon and Wishbone. The selection is small but everything was cooked perfectly. I had amazing cheese monster wings. They were juicy, crispy, and creamy. My mom got spicy tikkudak, and they were SPICY, which is great for her:) the fries and onion rings were seasoned really well. I've been going here for almost 3 years now. There's been a few ups and downs, but overall I was very satisfied with the place.

Recently, however, I was served by a person named Joanne (an asian woman employee with brown hair just to make sure I'm referring to the correct person) and I just had to write this review to complain about her extremely unprofessional attitude. She was very rude when taking orders, no greetings at all, and was looking at her phones the entire time while taking the orders without any eye contact. Her voice tone was rude as well, as if she hated the fact that someone ordering interrupted whatever she was doing on the phone.

This horrific manner isn't limited to in-person interaction either. When I called for a pick up order, the person answering was impolite. When I tried to add another menu at the end of the order, she already hung up without warning, no "okays" or anything that would acknowledge the conversation had ended. Of course, when I saw the name on the receipt, it was Joanne.

I've never had problems with any of the workers at this place in the past. They were either very professional or just at a standard level that you normally expect from a fast food restaurant. But this person was so rude that I just had to write this review so that the owners could take a look on it. I definitely don't want to be ordering when Joanne is the one taking orders. What a...

Been ordering chicken at least twice a month for the past year. Best Korean fried chicken spot in Philly. Family likes the garlic spicy chicken - one complaint is not enough sauce. Used to having all the chicken smothered in sauce so when you see just the fried chicken it’s kinda disappointing. Restaurant says they put a predetermined amount each time. But seeing your reviews I’m not the only one who’s give this feedback. One more scoop of sauce won’t break the bank.

They used to give the radish for free even for takeout and now they insist on charging for each one. And I don’t get the punch card because I order from ChowNow - which offered a discount for annual membership. You guys obviously use that vendor and I come a lot more often because of it. Dunno just weird to punish regular customers due to the vendor they use. Like it’s a punch card dude.

Their different flavors are all good. Onion sauce is spot on. Friends like cheese monster and spring onion. Can’t go wrong with the chicken. And even ordering take out. Food stays crispy when you get home.
