Lemon Grass Thai — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Ordered a Red Curry, a Coconut Milk Soup, and a Thai Coffee for delivery.

The Red Curry was a bunch of steamed vegetables in a watery curry. I think the sauce was literally watered down, given how sweet it tasted, and there's no way the vegetables were prepared in any way other than being steamed. Same with the tofu. No spices or anything. Why did this take 20 minutes to make? You could make this at home yourself in the time it takes to steam some vegetables and warm some store-bought curry - after you water it down, of course.

As with the Curry, the Coconut Milk ""Soup"" was literally just steamed vegetables and mushrooms in warm coconut milk. That's it. Both of these dishes must have been ladled liquids in a warming pot with vegetables tossed in.

Didn't even get the Coffee. I would normally say the driver is at fault, but given the quality of the food I honestly believe the restaurant forgot it, and I'm very grateful for that! I shudder to think what their coffee is like, and I appreciate that they helped me avoid that experience through their neglect.

I'm sorry, but this wasn't even good budget food. Anybody could make what I received at home in a larger quantity and at a higher quality. I've worked as a cook, and so I try to be as understanding as possible when it comes to mistakes, but this didn't taste like a mistake. This tasted like the restaurant straight up waters down their food and cooks their vegetables like a white person who doesn't know the meaning of the word "spice" and thinks Olive Oil is the thing that Olive Garden puts on their bread sticks.

We Order Two Appetizers & Entree, we got the Chicken Curry Puff, which was delicious 10/10. On the other hand, the cheesesteak rolls were not fresh, you can tell they were frozen before deep fried which made the shell of the egg rolls really hard and it was definitely not flavored. As we finish the apps, we assume our entree, the drunken beef noodle would come out. But it didn’t, we literally saw 3 people who came into the restaurant 5mins AFTER we finished our apps get the food first. It looked like favoritism and I was not happy. We told the waiter n he quoted “the food is coming right out” We was confused because we finished our apps and he took the plates already n yet our food didn’t come n others got served the same exact dishes before us and yet we was there already 30mins prior. He tried asking if we waited to go, we said no because I was always angry that we waited, so he did not take out the dish nor gave us a new check. Pretty good! I dropped by here for a quick dinner solo and was very comfortable! At first, I was a little confused because the place was entirely empty on a weekday evening, but by the time I left, it was nearly packed. The hostess/waitress was so sweet and very attentive! I think she was working the floor by herself and did a great job! The food was also pretty good. The drunken noodles were spicy with thick noodles, just the way I like it! The chicken satay was also okay, though barely warm - I probably should've asked them to heat it, but I assumed that how it was supposed to served? Further, I appreciated the fact that the food came out quickly since I had a train to catch! Overall, I would definitely consider coming back if I want a quick bit to eat/sit...
