About a year or so ago, I went to this Dunkin Donuts a few times (9834 Bustleton Ave, Philadelphia, PA) because I was having chemotherapy done at Einstein across the parking lot. I would go through the drive through after having chemotherapy, just before going to work. I felt awful each time and coffee was the one thing I had to look forward to.
These people took advantage of me. They would mess up my order every time, and they would refuse to fix it unless I agreed to pay for the mistake, as well as my correct order. I felt so terrible after my treatment that I agreed to it. Each time I went there I had to pay for their mistakes. The arrogant older woman would argue with me every time. She would say that I ordered things that I didn’t. Why would I order tea when I don’t drink tea? Why would she insist on arguing with me when I am politely asking for my correct order? I’m never trying to get something for free; I always give the mistakes back.
At the time, I was too sick to stand up for myself. Today, I went back to my oncologist for a check-up; I’m much healthier now. I go to the Dunkin Donuts, and they are trying the same scam. This time I refused to pay. I wouldn’t leave until they fixed the order. The older Indian woman at the window argued with me. She said that I ordered chocolate donuts when I didn’t. She was nasty and beyond rude. I don’t eat chocolate. Why would I order something I don’t like?
I don’t know if this is a scam or if these are the meanest people on earth. However, they are taking advantage of people who are sick. They...
Read moreI used to be a regular at this location since it is right by my work. However, I was never happy with their customer service. I swear in 3.5 years I have never seen the older Indian lady at the drive-thru smile or say hello or thank you. Even when she gives you your drink, she barely sticks her hand out and looks extremely annoyed. Recently, I went inside to have lunch with my kids. We ordered food from some very rude lady who messed up our whole order. While waiting for our food, we went to the restroom to wash our hands and honestly I wish we never did. It was so dirty in there, there were little flies all over the walls. The sink looked as it was never cleaned as well as the floors and the toilet seat. Seeing the sign - All Employees must wash their hands- made me even more grossed out knowing that staff use this bathroom and then go make me coffee, touching my lid and god knows what else. (trust me they don't always use gloves although they are supposed to). Never going back...
Read moreLarge coffee shop that is right down the street from where I live. Also have a Baskin Robbins ice cream shoppe inside. They have a couple of seating areas with 3 comfortable cushioned chairs each and a coffee table. Plenty of tables and chairs with a long counter space. Customer service could be friendlier. Not a good visit new person forgot my order ahead coffee had to wait 15 minutes. No more Baskin Robbins here. Wonder what they are going to do with all that space? WOW!!!
