Well Greg's Kitchen is a little Gem in Manyunk. It has seating for 20 and take out. Our Wait person was Rachael. She was busy and did Her best to accomodate All our needs. We were waiting for someone she took our order and let the other person order when they arrived. We were lucky enough to be there on a Friday morning. We heard tell of long lines. We got a table right away. Food was the Best... We had The Berky Bowls it was Fresh and sooooo Good. It had!!! Great flavor and "They know how to make an "over medium" Egg that goes in the Bowl. They should teach courses. Good old tater tots accompany most orders. Crunchy little bites Toast comes unbuttered in case You want to "diy" Here's a novel idea when you are out of a "Special" on the menu: "Delete it or cross it out". Well that is what they did, I was impressed. I have spent minutes deciding on an order only to find out they are out of it Good for them. It is intimate and adorable. We had people visiting from Baltimore and Miami. They lived it. They have "diy" omelettes .50. An item. It was Great!!! they try very hard to accommodate All tastes, it states on the menu that food take a a little longer to prepare because each order is...

Food was good. We went on a Saturday around noon. We waited maybe 15min for our table which was fine because we just took the chance to browse a shop across the street. We hurried back once our table was ready. There were 2 tables available. The waitress said we can sit in either place so we chose to sit by the window. We waited a good amount of time for out food. You can see the kitchen from the seating area because of the size. More tables started to open up around us. I looked and suddenly noticed all of the staff watching us. There were still 2 other small groups seated. The second my friend finished her food the waitress zipped over to take her plate. I was not finished my bowl. She then came back and placed the check in front of us then returned to the kitchen area where they continued to watch us eat. A couple more minutes and she came and asked if I wanted a box. We felt extremely rushed and unwelcome at this point. Even though I wasn't finished eating we decided to pay the bill and leave. We spent more time waiting for our food than we did actually eating it. I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant but unfortunately I will not...

Flies all over my food landing like on me and the couple next to me. My wife got the waiter attention and told her that it was a nat in her drink . The waiter stood there look confused…than says ok , Where is it? Looks and says there nothing there and gives it back.😂 wofe says no i want a new drink it’s somewhere in it .the waiter than askes the cook to check it 😂.So she said give me a can and a new cup. Talked a while i still ate my bacon 🥓 😋and i kindly paid my tab and quietly informed the m waiter that’s there was baby Nats or files hovering around there landing on customers food and in drinks and suggested to prop a door or a window to let them escape and she then told them owner / cook i guess never looks at me but for a split second and he says he’ll take a look at it later. Only thing is he never gave me a apology for the bad experience when i drove a long way to try his cafe… and for him to brush it off. Like that means it must be a know problem i took a picture but it won’t let me load bit that deep but. Won’t suggest eating in getting anything creamy that the flies can get stuck in you might not see it...

I was looking for new places to go to brunch in my area and came across this place on Yelp. The reviews, menu and pictures look good so I decided to give it a shot. There was an art festival going on in the street outside when I visited so there was considerably more foot traffic than normal. We were still able to get a table within minutes of arriving at noon on a Saturday. The space is pretty small but welcoming. The service was veryyyy slow. We had to flag the waitress over to take our order then once she put it in it took about 30 minutes until we were served. Another table ordered right before us and it took them just as long to get their food so it seems like it's just the way the kitchen runs. We had the Greek Brekky & pancakes. The food was good but not exceptional. I enjoyed the tater tots the most. They were perfectly crispy. My eggs had no flair and didn't seem to have any cheese although it was supposed to come with feta. The pancakes were average. I wasn't terribly impressed by this place but it wasn't horrible...

Expect to wait unless you are one of the first through the door, when opening. Our initial 30 minute wait turned into an hour. Not only that, asking customers to “take a walk” while they’re waiting, especially on a cold day is not the best thing. Interestingly enough, while we were seated, we noticed other patrons waiting, and they were NOT told the same. The experience as a whole was a 6/10. The portion sizes were good, but the eggs needed salt and the sweet breakfasts dishes (pancakes and French toast) severely lacked seasoning. Tots and bacon were good. Checkout was painless, as it was all through the toast app/website. In my opinion it was a one and done experience. If i choose to come back it would be to pick up and go.

Sure you can make breakfast at home, at times it may even taste better than the restaurant. But is it really worth the time, energy, and clean up? Probably not.. So why not just leave everything to Greg. Even though this dinner is very small, the food portions is Huge. I always enjoy a breakfast that is clean and not greasy. Greg's food is prepared just like I like it. The french toast (2 Challah bread slices) was nice and thick. I like the fact they offer real maple syrup (out of stock at the moment). They do offer soy milk for non dairy alternatives. Hopefully they add other options such as oatmilk. I strongly suggest try this place out.
