J & S Restaurant — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Please ask for receipts and check your change!!!! I went into this business and ordered a corn beef hash with eggs and and peppers and onions which I know are an extra charge. After the initial $9.50 It should have been around 12 bucks these people charged me 17 something dollars. And I left a tip! I only noticed after reading over the menu when I got home. I called and the man kept telling me for two days he would correct the problem. He even kept trying to tell me I ordered pork bacon when I don’t eat pork! I even showed up. Now I have reported this business to the BBB and the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). I will keep on going to the consumer financial protection bureau because it’s the PRINCIPLE!...

Everything was fine. Food was very good. My problem came down to the way the counter lady was allowed to service us all the way up to paying. The, I assume owners, came forward and handled payment. I used Apple Pay but the made me hand over my phone and then bring it back to get my Face ID. They moved her to the side. Cooks r really good. Food is like a home cooked meal. Price point is excellent. Cashier is very pleasant (black girl in morning). I've only had their breakfast several times. Have yet 2 try their lunch (don't live nearby so stop pass en route only if I'm close by). The ppl who live in that neighborhood are lucky to have such a good and affordable bkft joint.
