New Zem Zem Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

If anyone has been further considering this establishment for food service, don't!! I have patroned this place for 15 YEARS and in all the time I've ordered from here I rarely had any trouble with the employees here or the person taking the orders. However the past few months, the person who has answered and taken the orders has been beyond rude, unprofessional, uncourteous, belligerent, abrasive and far from mannered! I report this to everyone reading with the utmost sincerity if you're considering ordering here...go somewhere else. Save your money and frustration. I'm Philly born and raised and LOVE to eat CONSISTENT well prepared food at establishments with CONSISTENT well mannered, respectful and welcoming employees and atmosphere and great quality food. And this is absolutely no longer that place smh. I'm urging to this everyone reading as someone who about no more than three hours ago from writing this and having to calm myself after the debacle of arguing with the phone person who mind you is the MANAGER of the establishment on HIS rudeness to me, my mother and girlfriend since we have been frequenting here! During the phone call who hung up on me for ASKING A QUESTION ABOUT THE MENU!! And when asked why he proceeded to yell and pointlessly defend his unprofessionalism as to why he has conducted himself in the manner he has. This has not just been my best experience it has been everyone im in contact with who has ordered from here in the past few months. And mind you that's just putting in the order. The food no more than five years ago was usually always consistent. But as of late you will have nights where the food has quality and nights where the food has absolutely none at all! Examples: burnt wings, pizza with little to no cheese or sauce, they no longer have any name brand beverages except Pepsi and these are all drinks mind you any can purchase from their local corner store like the days Brand. And no matter what you ask him he has an attitude everytime! So again to anyone considering this establishment save yourself and family the time from ordering here. If you need any suggestions to quality food establishments, I'm more than happy to help in a request. But no one deserves the service or loose quality this...

First let me say I have been ordering from ZemZem pizza for about 6 years. You would think that means something for the customer. I was treated so very badly my last visit. My order came to $16.90 when I got there I said it's me I'm here for pickup,then I went in my wallet to get my debit card.I tried to hand it to Zem himself he said NO NO NO ,Cash you said cash . I said well I'm sorry I thought I had enough cash on me .He told me my order had to be over $16.90 to use a Debit card. I was in disbelief then on top he said your banned because we made food and you not buy . I was standing there appalled, humiliated as this man yelled at me as I was there with no money to pay, My bank statements have ZemZem on them all through them for the last six or seven years because that's what I always used, I've never used cash because I don't carry cash these days. I felt like I needed apology because before then zems Son spoke to me so rudely and I told him I'm going to talk to your father which is Zem, So I told them and he said Oh I'm sorry for him I'm going to deal with him. Well just 3 weeks later he was his son's twin I will never go anywhere near or order or tell a friend or family member to order from Zem Zem Pizza. I finally left the store and went down the street to get...

I will say when i moved to the area i was very happy to find a halal pizza store that actually served good food, but as time went on the service went down tremendously and they got very sloppy with the food. i can honestly say i've never had an issue with the pizza (not the greatest but the crust is soft) or the wings but the burgers (i ask for medium rare) are never how i asked for them and several times i ordered a salad i received it with hair in my salad! Lastly, the owner of the shop is extremely rude and almost every time i call it's as if he's rushing me off the phone instead of asking me if i would like anything else and then this last time i received the order and it was wrong, so i tried to call back and rectify my order but he was so rude and tried to tell me what i said when i am very particular about my food!!!! Honestly it's not worth the headache and this was my last straw! Please find yourself a decent food place who actually values their food...
