This place seriously blew me away. I stopped by La Catedral Café on a whim and ended up having one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Mother got the quesadilla and wow—so cheesy, packed with flavor, and the tortilla was perfectly crisp. It’s the kind of dish that’s simple but done so right you can’t stop eating it.
I had the Creme Brulee French toast and it was totally worth it. Lightly sweet, fresh strawberry and blueberry. Definitely no syrup needed.
Daughter ordered the Quesabirria Tacos with consomé and they were hands down some of the best. The meat was tender and seasoned perfectly, and the broth added the perfect finishing touch.

The real star however, was the sauces they served my food with. Usually resturaunts will serve these same sauces and make them as spicy as possible, which is good, but when you start trading flavor for heat you lose out on what makes the sauce actually good. This resturaunt however, has extremely flavorful sauces, and while they might not be particularly hot, they do just enough to add a little kick.

Read moreWe passed by this restaurant many times but decided to visit today. The place is small, cozy, and nicely decorated with traditional Mexican art.
The waitress was very friendly, and accommodated us when asked about making the burritos vegetarian. The burritos had rice, beans, tomatoes, onions, crema, cheese, and avocado, and included red and green sauces. We drank guava jarritos. Overall, it's a nice, affordable place!
