Weird changes. It’s now $4 to swap out a meat patty for an impossible patty. And now the impossible patty is half the thickness. I don’t eat a lot so idc really but it’s prob not going to sit well w most vegetarians that they now have to pay more and also get less. I added extra tomato, extra lettuce and extra jalapeño to my order. I only one piece of lettuce and one tomato which was really thin but also thicker than the burger lol. Bc the patty was so thin I thought maybe it was real meat and just a total mix up, so I called to ask but their phone line isnt up. Any place I have ever ordered an impossible burger it’s thiccccc. I’ve never received my food hot or even very warm here. I’ve waited in there w my bf…one of our things will be ready 15 mins before the other and then they’ll scoop in cold fries at the end. How are the fries cold….every time. Aren’t people constantly ordering them how are they not just providing them straight from the fryer. Do they not have food warmers for orders to sit after being made? Items are priced on the higher side so that’s an extra bummer when you get your cooked order at room temp. My bf loves the pickle monster so we have gotten food here a lot and we legit live down the block. No matter if it’s a Tuesday or Saturday it’s always the same outcome. Slow or busy everything you order comes out like they’ve been in the weeds all night. Ive seen food deliverers wait for ages. I’ve witnessed it all and somehow they have a high star rating. I love their Front Street location that place always hits so maybe the slacking here has something to do w the lack of competition in the Wiss area idk but it baffles the hell out of me. I told my bf to stop buying me dinner here. Even tho it’s not my money it still bothers me they get away w the sub-par not-hot food. There’s the big unused dining area too. It’s not an eat-in establishment so it’s a lot of wasted space…but also plenty of space for the many people waiting for their...
Read moreAward winning? I can believe that easily!! One of the best constructed burgers I’ve ever had. Came with two patties that were cooked perfectly near to a medium cook and that’s without being asked which is perfect. Solid bacon and enough cheese to beautifully coat the patties and the bacon. The only problem I had was the amount of the creamy peanut butter that was on the burger because instantly it was drooping off and was everywhere. Nonetheless in all the mess, it’s a combination that I’ll get again. Decided to pair the sandwich with the roadside fries which was probably the best decision I’ve made all month. Light, skinny and crispy French fries that’s smothered in an old bay seasoning and an amazing cheese that could easily rival chickie’s. Great customer service from the two that’s in the front of the shop. Definitely a must visit...
Read moreIt was okay. An odd interior with biscuit lady. I walked in, hoping to get a breakfast sandwich, but the biscuit lady was sold out so I was curious what the sandwich shop had to offer. They didn’t have much of a way of breakfast sandwiches so I got the closest thing which was their egg sandwich with pastrami. The service was quick but the sandwich taste was just OK/meh. The taste of salt overwhelmed the sandwich, and the egg was a weird texture of fluffiness, but still pretty greasy. I don’t think I would order again/I could only stomach about half the sandwich before I called it quits. Coffee was reasonably price for the biscuit lady as it matched how it taste.
I’m pretty sure the sandwiches at the shop taste better than what I had but I don’t think $15 with tax is worth the price of this...
