Before stepping in, I wasn’t expecting too much. All I know about food in Philly is cheesesteak (apologize for my ignorance). But I did not expect any outstanding pizza. With this being said, Luigi’s impressed me! I walked to the court and saw those pizza sold by slice. From their appearance I can tell things going on here are good. The first slice, with arugula and prosciutto, is flavorful and tasty in general. Crust is thin yet chewy. The second slice from a freshly made chicken and bacon ranch pizza. That slice could almost be separated into two slices. That slice is also full of flavor. The last slice is a Sicilian style cheese pizza, not as outstanding as the previous two, but also good.

After a night over at the Philly Art Museum, my friends and I were looking to find food. Came across this spot on our way back to the cars we had parked in the neighborhood. One friend ordered a classic cheese slice, which she inhaled before I could get a photo of it. In her words: It was bangin'!. To share we had fries, Mozzy sticks, and onion rings. My other friend went with the Philly cheese teak with no onions + pickles. I ordered the Wild Wild West panini minus the peppers. Overall, we were delighted with the food, the staff, and the atmosphere. When we are over at the Art Museum, we plan to head back here to eat after hours of walking.

AMAZING! One of the best pizzas ever. Everything looked so good, I couldn't help but ordered way too much. The Caprese salad was so good. It was served on a bed a fresh, crisp romaine lettuce, topped with plump and juicy grape tomatoes and delicious pieces of fresh mozzarella. The staff were all so friendly and patient as everyone had a hard time deciding what to eat because everything looked so good. Will definitely be back, and I would recommend to anyone that is ever in Philly, go to Luigi's, you'll love it. I promise!

This place used to have great food, it was a treat to order from here. The last few times we've gotten food from here it's been terrible. Pizza tastes and smells "yeasty" for lack of a better term, like the dough is undercooked, even though I asked for extra crispy. We got the 16 slice blue steel and only ate about half of 3 slices and threw the rest away. Inedible. We got mozzarella sticks and they were yellow, not crispy, and didn't taste good at all. We ate two and threw the rest out. We got a meatball parm sub and ate about half and tossed the rest, it's just not good. Wawa does it better, not even joking. I used to get food from here often and would tell friends about it, we'd use them for parties, etc. The last three or so times we've gotten from here it's been inedible. I keep trying because I used to love this place so much but it's just gross now and I'm done. We spent $67 with tip on delivery and threw most of the food out....

Won’t lie… my family and I picked this place because it was the closest pizza spot we could find near the Rocky steps/statue. We were blown away. We were greeted by the friendliest man I’ve met in a long time. He guided us on what to order and it didn’t disappoint. Pizza was unreal and the cheese steak was next level. Even the antipasto salad was incredible. Couldn’t have been more satisfied with our meal and service.

Afterward, we get in our Lyft and the driver tells us Luigi’s recipes are from his Sicilian grandmother and Luigi spends half the year in Italy. No way to know if true but I wouldn’t dispute it based on the quality of food. If I could return there at every opportunity I would. Best service and food I’ve had at a friendly spot like that in...

Luigi’s Pizza Fresca – A Fairmount Gem!

If you're in the Fairmount area, Luigi’s Pizza Fresca is a must-visit! I had the pleasure of trying their Fresca Works pizza as well as a custom-built gluten-free pizza, and I was blown away.

Gluten-free pizza can be hit or miss, but Luigi’s absolutely nails it. The crust is perfectly thin, yet strong enough to hold all the delicious cheese and sauce without getting soggy—a rare find. The Fresca Works pizza is also packed with flavor, a perfect choice if you want something hearty and balanced.

I've tried many gluten-free pizzas, and this one easily ranks among the best. Whether you're gluten-free or not, you’ll find something to love here. Highly recommend...
