Today, 07/09/2022, around 4:00PM, I visited McDonals in Philadelphia at 52nd and Jefferson. I ordered a Diet Coke and a regular Coke. I did this because my mom is diabetic and can’t have regular soda. The worker at the drive thru window gave me both beverages without the indicator selected to tell me which is diet. This literally happens EVERY visit at this location. In fact, it happened yesterday and I had to ask for a manager to resolve the issue because the worker refuses to take the sodas back and correct the problem. I had the same worker today. She first told me that I have to smell my sodas to figure out which is diet. She told me she can’t take them back or correct them. I asked for a manager again today. She said no manager was there. I literally had to refuse to drive off before she went to get someone. The worker she got told her she was wrong and needed to change the sodas and apologize. She went on to say she was not gonna apologize because she was not sorry. I heard this and I told her I knew she wasn’t sorry and I felt she’s rude and unprofessional. She threw her hand up like she wanted to hit me or something if I was in her reach. Fortunately, I was in my car. This worker is ALWAYS rude and hostile, ALWAYS. I’m just not taking it anymore. I’m telling EVERYONE. I’m not the kind of person to want another person fired, but she needs to lose her job. I can’t believe she told me to smell my sodas to figure out which...

This McDonald's works well so long as you're respectful to the employees and confident in yourself. Placing an order works just as well as any other McDonald's. Paying for your order at the first window is usually quick and simple. Once you get to the second window, this is where you need to be confident.
When you're given your order, look inside the bag and take inventory of the items you ordered. I've seen customers in front of me take a bag, drive away, and then have to pull over to go back for a drink. The employees are busy and are paid poorly, and don't always communicate that more of your order is on its way. Do not leave the window until you have been given your entire order, and communicate respectfully to them if something is missing.
Sometimes the kitchen is very busy, and you may be told to pull over to a parking spot and someone will bring your order to you. This is the one exception when you can leave the 2nd window. They're very good about taking your order out to you within 5-15 minutes in that scenario.
The teenagers/young adults they have working here are generally pretty good employees, and the only time my order has missed something is when I didn't take inventory. This is McDonald's. You gotta do a little work yourself to have a...

I have a curbside mobile order. Something happened with the app. I came inside I stood there for at least 20 mins. I asked one lady to assist me. She took a glance and said “not ready yet”. Like what? Didn’t even offer assistance. Then I got the manager and it all made sense. Leadership has everything to do with it.
He explained that it didn’t cue because I didn’t put the spot number in. He didn’t give me the opportunity to explain it disappeared on the app. I showed him my receipt. He told me my location wasn’t on. I do web development for a living I know when it’s on and off. He then articulated that the order number was wrong. I had to literally ask him to pause and look at it instead of force feeding me rebuttals. I don’t know how they make money. Their ticket times have to be outrageous and the experience all together was extremely awful. They need to go train at a very good one and then come back b/c I’m sure they would be closed asap if anyone in an executive role...
