This is my most favorite tavern ever. Apart from the upsides of any tavern, McMenamin’s has hands down the BEST FOOD ever. I’m not much of a drinker (though I always appreciate a glass of their many great beers on tap, served at perfect temperature) - I honestly mainly go for their food. One always gets a great feed at McMenamin’s. They have some incredible chefs on their team, and one always leaves 100% satisfied. Apart from their great regular menu, there are delicious weekly specials, and it has become a tradition for Wednesday afternoons, to check what weekly specials they post online (specials run from Wednesdays through Tuesdays). The entire staff is great. They work together so well as a team, despite hectic times and a bunch of customers to wait on. The owner is a great guy too - it’s always a pleasure to see him there. It’s simply always a joy to go to McMenamin’s. Best tavern...

The food is excellent. They have a core menu, you can't go wrong with the burger, wings or fish 'n chips. They also have a special menu that changes every Friday and offers some surprisingly inventive choices for what at first seems like just a neighborhood pub.
It can get loud at times, and crowded on Eagles game days. While loud, it is not vulgar or uncomfortable. You could bring your six year old daughter, wife or mother and feel comfortable.
The staff is great and most of them have been there for years; they get to know you pretty quickly.
They have maintained their level of excellence for decades without getting stale. A neighborhood treasure not...
