Best Filipino BBQ and best food truck in town! Located on 33rd St. near the new squash center on Drexel’s campus. You can choose chicken, pork or chicken and pork combo that is grilled right before your eyes. It is served over a bed of fragrant Jasmine rice drizzled with their homemade soy vinaigrette sauce that is absolutely packed with flavor! Yet surprisingly light and doesn’t taste heavy on the palate. No grease or any unhealthy stuff.
You also have the topping options of onions, scallions and their homemade hot sauce. Get them all! The toppings, specially their homemade hot sauce just elevates the whole dish to another level! Every component just complements each other to make one amazing, cohesive dish!
Jay, the owner, is one of the best humans you’ll ever meet! It’s always a joy to meet him and he truly enjoys what he is doing. He has a big heart and always a smile on his face. He gets really excited when you tell him you love his food! lol Usually open Monday to Fridays but there are days Jay won’t be there. He does update his profile page on Instagram whenever there are changes to his hours.
Also, the only food truck in town I’ve been to that provides seating for customers while waiting. Jay always sets up a couple of long benches for his customers while they wait for their food. A few minutes of wait, specially during peak hours/lunch rush. But absolutely worth the wait!
