Me and my girlfriend attempted to walk in at about 650p earlier this evening , the hostess said the wait would be about 15mins and told us of the BYOB policy and encouraged us to get a bottle from a nearby store while we waited. She then took our number and my girlfriends name and told us she would call when a table was ready. After about 20 mins(about 710p) with no call we returned to ask how much longer the wait would be. We were told an additional 20 mins and that once again she would call us. We waited nearby till 8pm with no call before returning. Upon returning we were asked to wait again at which point i made a reservation online under my own name in hopes of at least eating by 830p. At 8:15ish we were promptly seated upstairs which proved to be uncomfortably hot. Once seated it took about 10 - 15mins in order to locate our server in order to place our order at which point we still hadn't even been acknowledged by any of the consistently passing staff or received the customary bread basket we saw others with. Once our waiter arrived we placed our orders and about 5mins later received our bread basket. My girlfriend ordered the cheese ravioli with meat balls and I ordered the linguine with shrimp and calamari we also got the bruschetta appetizer. My girlfriend received 4 ravioli with 2 meatballs smaller than golf balls. My girlfriend immediately made note that the serving size was unusually small considering the price as well as the standard size we've received in comparable restaurants(especially since she always orders ravioli wherever we go) while the ravioli itself was just okay the whole dish was covered in what tasted like a generic canned or Jarred sauce ( like prego) and the meatballs had a weird aftertaste. My dish had overcooked shrimp that lacked seasoning almost as if they were tossed in as an afterthought. Despite our qualms as we hadn't eaten in quite some time we finished our meals. We then attempted to locate our server so we could request a dessert menu. After about 10 mins of looking at girl came to fill our waters and I ask if the restaurant even served dessert as we were unsure. She said my server would be by and help with that. 10 mins later we were able to flag him and we ordered . I got the connolis and she got the tirimisu. The tirimisu lacked any espresso flavor and the connolis were extremely small. Overall while we understand this was a busy Saturday night the lack of clarity on wait time as well as failure to call when it was suggested by the hostess was quite upsetting, then having to spend extensive time looking for a server and flagging him down made us feel unwanted. The food was not terrible but definitely subpar. While I can understand a BYOB policy there was no non alcoholic beverages offered on the menu so we drank water all evening. Would probably...
Read moreI recently visited your restaurant and unfortunately had a very disappointing service experience. My server was a taller man of thin build, clean-shaven, with dark curly hair, appearing to be in his 30s or 40s with an accent.
Although we were dressed relaxed, my girlfriend suggested we eat here because the food is always delicious. Typically we dress business causal when eating at this location. We were seated near the kitchen in the rear of the dining area, which proved to be an uncomfortable spot. My girlfriend was bumped several times by staff walking to and from the kitchen.
From the moment we sat down, our waiter seemed rushed and appeared annoyed. I initially gave him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he was just very busy. I ordered a margarita pizza, chicken Parmesan with a side of pasta, requesting Alfredo sauce on the pasta instead of marinara. When taking the order, he quickly said, âAlfredo everything,â and walked away. I replied âyes,â believing my request for only the pasta to have Alfredo sauce was understood.
Sensing possible confusion, I spoke with another male server with a goatee (who is usually present and has always been attentive). He confirmed my request and spoke to my assigned waiter, who looked at us and appeared to say âok.â
When the food arrived, everything â including the chicken Parmesan â had Alfredo sauce instead of marinara. Normally, I avoid sending food back, but my girlfriend specifically wanted marinara on hers. When I brought this to the waiterâs attention, he became visibly irritated, raised his voice, and said, âYou said Alfredo everything, and I asked you two times â Alfredo everything!? But ok, we will fix it.â
After taking the plate, the waiter went to the bar area and began whispering to the hostess. Shortly after, they both turned and looked directly at me and my girlfriend. Once the food was brought back to our table, the hostess walked past us, staring at our plates as she headed to the kitchen. This made us both feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
It was also clear the kitchen had simply scraped off the Alfredo and refried the chicken, as there was still Alfredo sauce on it. The server with the goatee later stopped by to check on us, noticed I hadnât returned my dish, and kindly offered me a side of marinara, which I appreciated.
Although I still tipped the waiter generously, as I sensed he may have been having a difficult day, I believe it is important for staff to treat guests with courtesy and patience, regardless of circumstances.
I hope this feedback helps address any service concerns and ensures future guests have a more...
Read moreI genuinely had one of the WORST dining experiences here.
Me and my friend were just taking a bit of time to decide what to order and the waiter was already being passive aggressive for no reason. He wouldnât even look at us when we were ready to order. I literally had to get up and walk over to him just so we could order. The place wasnât even packed with costumers, there was like 4 tables max why is he acting like he has a lot on his shoulders.
Then when it came time to pay he added auto gratuity, 12 dollars, without asking, without telling us, and it was just two of us. We didnât order that much and the service he gave us certainly didnât even deserve a tip, let alone an automatic one. When I told him we didnât want to pay that, he just cut me off passive aggressively like ok ok I got it and walked away mid conversation.
While we were paying, he was rushing us. My friend was ABOUT to open her phone to tap payment and he said oh youâre not ready and walked off. Bro what? the phone was literally on her hand.
After that, he came back with the receipt and told me sign here and if you wanna complain you can write here in the most sarcastic tone. I said no Iâm good and he just kept repeating yes youâre good youâre good like five times in a mocking way. So I said yeah Iâm very good and laughed and just walked out. He even had the audacity to death stare me out the door, he thought he looked scary but it just made him and this whole place look like a fool.
Also the food was honestly mid. He didnât even bring it in the right order. Gave the main dish first, then the side dish, then the salad, then the complementary bread basket that was supposed to be served as soon as youâre seated. Like is this a joke? Felt intentional.
And when we were walking out he gave us a dirty look like we were the ones who did something wrong. I didnât get his name because I just wanted to leave before I ended up fighting him. His name is likely Ty because of the bill. I know what he looks like. He had dark hair, kinda thinning on the top of the head when heâs under the light.
Never coming back. Service was trash, Place was hot and humid, food wasnât even good, and the whole vibe...
