I am disgusted with this place following my experience today. Until today, I frequented this location despite the fact that the staff are often miserable, and their shelves often lack the products that I am in search for, however, due to the close proximity to my workplace I would frequent the store, often spending a substantial amount of money on products for both, myself and the workplace. Well today, I ran in quickly, in hopes of grabbing toothpaste and a pair of pantyhose. In normal fashion, they only had the toothpaste, so I grabbed it and ran to the front of the store only to be greeted by a long line at both, the self checkout as well as at the cashiers' lines. I then ran back to the back of the store thinking that I could beat the lines by checking out at the pharmacy however that too was busy, so I decided 'forget it' and I returned the toothpaste back to its display and went to leave the store. As I made my way to the exit, I was then stopped by a man who aggressively questionned 'Where's the toothpaste?!' Confused and now bothered that the man was nudging me, I told him that I put it down. Looking back, without this man identifying himself I should not have even explained myself to him, but I did and I told him, that it was back with the display. He then demanded that I show him and he proceeded to tell me that he and others in the store watched me with the toothpaste and now it was suspicious that I was leaving without the toothpaste. I then became annoyed and as I was embarrassed, I told him that I felt completely disrespected and that his reports clearly were false, that I was under the clear watch of many in the store seeing as, if this was the case, then they would have all seen me do the respectful thing and place the toothpaste back in its rightful place. I further told him that I was insulted and did not appreciate the false altercation-- which Kenny, my accuser then said, he never accused me of stealing. Well if this is the case, then why was I being stopped and questionned about the toothpaste. Long story short Kenny then tried to change the story and a rant about how this was all my fault because I put the toothpaste down and went into hiding when I approached other staff about the happening. I then was directed to the shift manager who was wet behind the ears and clearly never had to deal with an incident like this as he just stared blankly at me and told me there was nothing he could do because the accuser worked for an outside company. I was then told to come back and speak with the store manager in an hour, who refused to leave the office and meet with me. I eventually did get to speak with an assistant manager, but now we are left with me being and embarrassed patron who encourages all shoppers of this location to BEWARE.. especially if Kenny is on the prowl, because if you pick up an item and put it down, it's clear you have pocketed it. This place,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn Saturday February 29th, 2020 I had the unfortunate luck of dealing with "Tony" the Pharmacy intern, who made a point of lecturing me about the times between the fills of my Rx. 1. When and how I fill my medication is not your concern, and as a healthcare professional its not the place of an intern to lecture people at the consultation desk of a CVS. Your attitude has led me directly to reporting you, and Pamela whose license you were working under has led me to contacting the NABP to speak about the HIPPAA Violation that occurred when he decided to announce loud enough for the person behind me to hear that my Rx hadn't been filled in x amount of time and give him a good chuckle. This is a willful violation of HIPPA laws, which at minimum is a 10,000 dollar fine. That would separate from what the NABP will do to his licensing.
I don't need condescension from anyone least of a healthcare professional.
As a former military medic and nurse, I understand what the standard of care is for patients and what proper customer service looks like. This was not met, not even a little bit.
Subsequently, I went to a second CVS at 22nd and sout and the pharmacy manager there gave me an emergency fill to tide me over to Monday but he refused to give me the name of the district manager and would only refer me to the CVS customer service line. His name was Montano, he had zero reaction when I said there was a HIPAA violation and was also very dismissive when he gave me my Rx fill.
I don't understand how two separate stores on the same day would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOnly gave two stars because some employees are pleasant and helpful. But a number have an attitude that suggests they resent having a job. Update re pharmacy - went to pick up a script five minutes before 7 - this is their new closing time. They didn't bother to change the hours listed outside the store door. Was told my script was delayed in their system and they couldn't fill it till the next day. Basically, I got the door slammed in my face and had to suffer another night without a much needed medication because they closed down their system before they actually closed down. If that's the way they want to work it, they should make it clear that there's limited service after a certain time. If there were a mom and pop pharmacy with decent operating hours nearby, I would never use CVS again.
Refrigerated section breaks down frequently. No longer open 24hrs. Often out of items, not restocked well. Items not priced correctly and too often a new higher priced brand is put in place of another with the old price tag in place (see pic - the brand is different). 3.19 is pricey for a pint of half and half to begin with, but when I took this to the register, it scanned at over 4.50. (Walked across the street to Target and paid 1.79.) If this didn't happen frequently, I would think it was just laziness but I...
