Went on 9/23 at night and all of the staff and service were SO nice (especially Gianna). I've never been to a fast food place that had THIS good service- even better than Chick-Fil-A. We entered and everyone yelled "Welcome!" and they did so for all guests entering. Gianna explained how the sides/entrees worked, and since the shrimp was running low, they made us a fresh batch instead of giving us the old ones (I heard them tell the cooks that we were waiting for it) and delivered it to our table. Gianna offered us free sample drinks and showed us a QR to get a 20% off. Usually fast food places want you in and out, but she really took the time to talk to us and look out for us. Later on, a staff member went around to all the tables and brought us a box of sauces and fortune cookies and if we wanted any. They also told us to fill out the survey on the receipt to get a free entree. I get that they'd like them to get good reviews, but they absolutely deserve it and I feel like they also were looking out for us to snag those perks. 10/10 service. My second time at Panda Express and would go back again (my first time was at another location in Philly, and it was not as good service/quality as...
Read moreI arrived around 10:45 AM and immediately noticed that some of the food was dry, along with empty bowls on the line. Any item (everything with broccoli, teriyaki chicken, etc.) that required a gravy was lacking. Note: They opened at 10:00 AM.
Before I ordered (one entree and side), I informed the server that I wanted gravy on my rice and meat. He replied, "It's at the register." He proceeds to scoop dry white rice in a bowl and cut up the dry teriyaki chicken, and placed it at the register. I got to the register and stated I wanted teriyaki sauce on my rice and chicken. The cashier replied, "Oh no. It's in a pack." I then declined the food and left.
Who wants to add room temperature or cold packed sauce to what should be warmed and/or hot food? If I went to an Asian restaurant and ordered Teriyaki chicken with rice it would contain sauce, that is cooked in the food.
This was my first and last visit to Panda Express. This experience screams we are attempting to cut cost on ingredients. Therefore, use the bare minimum of ingredients. I have never had Asian food that did not consist of sauce, especially a rice based food that was...
Read moreThe food is fresh, but their crab rangoon and spring rolls are very unpalatable, and there is no dipping sauce. Be careful with the cashier there. I bought 2 entering and fried rice, and she charged me for three dishes. This one portion is $14, which is too expensive. It is better to go to other restaurants in the same...
