I had seen a review of Pop’s on TikTok and we decided to try our luck on Saturday afternoon. I knew there was a chance they’d be sold out and, when I arrived, there were only 2 sausage & gravy buns left. The window server (whose name I forgot, but she is from Belfast) realized we had driven from NJ to try them and was very apologetic. As we were chatting, someone behind her said they wanted to give me a leftover sticky bun on the house. I couldn’t believe my luck and how kind everyone working there was! The sticky bun was incredible (10/10), but what surprised me most was the sausage & gravy bun. I typically would not enjoy a pastry like this, since I am not a fan of gravy, but this was made very well. The bread melted in my mouth. I can’t wait to go back…bright and early...
Read moreAfter weeks of seeing the lines at Pop's, we got to devour 2 of their delicious bun varieties. Their cinnamon roll and sticky bun with nuts were the best we've ever tasted! We followed their tip to heat the buns in the microwave for 20 seconds right before eating. The warmth makesthe buns melt in your mouth. Their prices are reasonable and they take cash or cards for payment. It's takeout only.They are now open Thursday-Saturday 9am til 1pm or they run out. The owners explained that they need the week days to prep and have the dough develop. We are looking forward to trying their savory bun...

They have both sweet and savory buns, and we got some of both.
For savory, we got the sausage & gravy bun, which was fluffy, not greasy or heavy-feeling at all, and felt like comfort food. Something about the smell of the buns reminds me vaguely of Europe, I don't know if it's sort of a brioche or challah type dough or what, but we loved it.
We also got the blueberry kolachi, which I'd never had before but was sort of like a sweet bready bialy, or like a donut, but baked instead of fried, in the shape of a danish.
