My wife and I moved to Philly at the end of July and had our first cheesesteak experience here and it was wild. First, we didn't realize that it would be attached to The Home Depot. We walked in and the smell of sizzling meat as well as the aroma was intoxicating. There was some confusion with where to order despite there being signs that said "Order Here" and "Pay Here." We were fascinated by the massive rings of sausage and my wife made plenty of innuendos, making us crack up. All the while there was a mail man there talking to the chefs who gave him a ring of raw onion that he munched on. When it was our turn to pay, the owner said, "Are you two married?" We chuckled and confirmed that fact. He then gave us free chips, which were amazing. We took our sandwiches out to the parking lot and ate on the curb. A better cheesesteak experience does not exist.

Incredible find! I had spotted this place when researching places nearby during our trip to S. Philly. I knew we’d be leaving fairly early in the morning to drive back home Sunday, and I wanted to keep my at-least-one-cheesesteak-a-day streak alive so planned to hit this place on the way out. Rad to integrated into a Home Depot - easy access to I95 and plenty of parking. Got the Rocco’s Special (steak + sausage) and my wife got a breakfast sandwich. Best prices of the weekend, friendliest staff, and incredibly tasty. Had half in the car in the lot and the other half when we stopped for gas. Would definitely go again and the only one I spent the time to review. Oh, and the do take credit card (I was under the impression they didn’t when I first looked when researching).

I’ve been finding excuses to go to the Home Depot on Columbus Blvd for years to enjoy Rocco’s sausage and pepper sandwiches. Always greeted with a smile and sample of the hot or sweet sausage. Fast service and a great hoagie! Our most recent trip was on the Delaware River trail biking. Grabbed our standard half hot half sweet sausage hoagie with peppers and onions while our son got a cheesesteak. Biked them up to the Race St pier and enjoyed the River views while eating our hoagies. His cheesesteak was perfect with the melted cheese and awesome bread. I might have to break my standard and go with the cheesesteak next trip! Rocco’s has never disappointed me on numerous stops there over the years!

Heart Attack Warming! Cook oversalted everything and killed all flavors and seasoning. We ordered one jerk cheese steak & one sausage sandwich to go. Flavors seems good -- except the cheese steak was overly loaded with salt it felt sickening to eat and practically killed all the flavors. The cook also chopped the steak too much there was to longer a steak chew, just mashed up minced meat. You just don't mince steak to the point it's no longer any steak to eat. Might as well call it a burger. For the salt alone, stay away before you get high blood pressure and a heart attack. The steak needs to stay reasonably steak and not overly chopped into minced beef. The saugsage was less salty than the steak, but still a bit salty. If they fix these issues, I would not hesitate to recommend. But as is, I won't return and cannot recommend -- it's...

We asked a friend from Philly where we should get real (non-tourist trap lol) cheesesteaks, and he recommended Rocco's. He said it was in a Home Depot, but that that shouldn't put us off because they make the BEST cheesesteak and sausage sandwiches in Philly. I can't speak for anywhere else, but this place was incredible. We got regular cheesesteaks with peppers and onions, chips and we shared some hot and mild sausage. It was all cooked to perfection: tasty, flavorful and juicy. But that's not even the best part- the staff was so kind, personable, funny and they played with my cranky toddler to help make our experience even better. 10/10. If we're ever back in Philly, we're definitely headed back. Thanks to the crew- especially the guy with three young kids. I hope their sneakers fit for longer than the...
