Saint Lazarus Bar — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I know the family that owns this bar and when I tell you this is the place to be I mean it! The DJ is amazing, you won't be able to get off of the floor! The drinks are great, the atmosphere is crazy and the staff is great!! The place is small yes, but all of the above makes it not matter at all!! Security is at the front door, nobody has time for the foolishness. Everyone is there to have a good time! This place is literally at the Girard el station amongst other clubs and bars along the strip but believe me when I tell you, YOU come here and no where else will...

Was a regular before but went back after a few years the other night. I'd stay clear of this place now the floor is broken (huge potholes inside of the dance floor) there is no max capacity and there should be a headcount of bodies as it's a safety issue the clientele were very rude and drunk it was not a place I'll be going back to. The security should be counting bodies or at least stop allowing people in past a point or they could tell the very drunk guys to leave to make room. This place is not safe in the slightest do...

Saint Lazurus is definitely NOT your average bar. It's decorated with the owner's very unique since of style, some can except it and some cant! This bar has statues of Saint Mary, oil painted pictures, bulls skeleton heads with lights in the eyes👀! The bartender even told me some people just come to pray to the statues and leave! They have some good beers on tap and live D'js on some weekdays(not sure which one's). In all I was very taken in by the atmosphere, and would suggest this bar to whomever likes...
