I cannot say enough about Lesly at The Sugary. My husband (fiancé at the time) and I scheduled an appointment for a cake tasting prior to our wedding, which was Oct 2022. There were so many options of cakes and buttercreams and everything we tasted was out of this world. It was hard to decide because everything was so delicious. Lesly was amazing to work with. She made the whole tasting and decision making process easy and gave us amazing advice since we wanted to do cupcakes for our guests and a single tier cake for us. Our cake came out exactly as we dreamed and was even more delicious than we remembered. The guests could not stop raving about the cupcakes either. Many guests took 2 and 3 cupcakes because they were just that good. What's even more impressive is that she was super diligent about responding to emails and answering all of our questions. We were living in DC at the time and in the middle of relocating back to Philly. She made everything so simple and stress free. I had such a wonderful experience working with The Sugary to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. We really wanted to make it special for them, especially since we could only celebrate virtually. I reached out to Lesly at The Sugary to see if she could somehow recreate my parents’ wedding cake but in a size that would be somewhat reasonable for two people. I am not sure what I expected, but the result blew us all away. It was beautiful, and the perfect mini replica of my parents’ original cake. My parents were so touched and so happy with the cake. My husband and I had done multiple cake tastings and were having a difficult time finding a cake that we both liked. Luckily, I stumbled up the Sugary on Instagram. The cake tasting was the perfect experience -- we got to sample everything (not in cupcake form!) and mix and match the buttercream toppings as we pleased. We left knowing that we had found our bakery! Lesly was very responsive to all of my emails and made the whole process seamless. She was also helpful in making suggestions for our cake design.
