The pizza here is delicious. One of my favorite pizzas. The issue is, ordering toppings here is an absolute scam.

I used to order sausage on my pie, and what was received was delicious, long, thin slices of sausage that covered each slice of pizza. Suddenly they started using a different kind of sausage, which is fine, though not as good. It’s more of sausage crumble/small pieces of sausage. But the ISSUE is they basically put none on the pizza. I have ordered pies here with this new sausage multiple times, and everytime there is no more than like 1-2 tiny, tiny crumbles of this sausage per slice. 4$ to add the sausage, and you get the amount that would typically, elsewhere, cover one slice, not a whole pie. I finally gave up on the sausage, feeling scammed by spending my money on that as a topping. So i tried ordering ricotta. Somehow there was even less ricotta (3$) than when I get sausage! There was at most a singular very little dollop of ricotta per slice, and half the slices had half a little dollop near the crust that you could barely even see. It’s absolutely absurd!! Spare yourself from spending money on toppings here. Absolute scam of extra charges for...

Ordered 3 pizzas and a salad for a small event: Salsiccia Pie, Burrata Pie, Spinaci Pie, Ciao Panzanella Salad. Our first time ordering from Pizzata. They were devoured! Best we’ve tried in the city for sure. Fresh ingredients, flavorful, and obviously carefully prepared.

Although the food was impeccable, the service was exceptional. Unfortunately the delivery company failed to pick up the food (at all). When we followed up with the restaurant they remade the order so it was fresh (for reals!), volunteered a lot of options to help get us the food in time to enjoy at our event, and stayed in touch with us the whole time. Very personal, customer-first service experience! The ‘zas were worth waiting for, and the support from the restaurant saved what could have been a terrible experience.

Definitely our new go-to pizza joint. Can’t wait to try the rest...

This was the fifth time I have eaten at Pizzata Pizzeria in the past three years. I always order the margarita. First two times (in 2022) the pizza was fantastic. Crispy, excellent crust, perfect combination and amount of fresh ingredients. The next time I ate there (2023) the pizza was good, but not great. In 2024 I had their pizza once, and again the pizza was good, but not great. Yesterday, (September 2025), I was walking in the neighborhood on a beautiful day and gave Pizzata Pizzeria one more try, hoping for a fantastic margarita pizza. I ordered the pie and sat at one of the two high rise tables in the pizzeria. The margarita pizza was fantastic. It was a solid 5 star margarita pizza. Crispy. Excellent crust. Just the right amount of sauce. Bravo Pizzata Pizzeria. I...

Pizza is pretty good, crust has a nice crunch/char. Quality cheese is used. But- it's wayyy too greasy for my liking and pretty expensive for some reason. For anyone wondering why their toppings are skimped it's because there is a spanish dude churning out pies as fast as humanly possibly in the back. He can't take the time to gingerly lay toppings on each pie when he's making 100's a night. I agree for the price it shouldn't be rushed but it obviously is if you observe the process on Friday night. I won't be going back but also wasn't disappointed in my $5 pepperoni slice. It took 15 minutes. All their awards displayed are from 3 years ago maybe they are resting on their laurels.

The pies were good but unfortunately did not live up to the hype. The ones we chose both sounded exciting toppings-wise, but somehow the flavors fell short. The Romana was the better of the two. Decent amount of porchetta. Be warned that the peppers are HOT. The Salsiccia definitely lacked in more ways than one. The toppings felt sparse. Small dollops of ricotta, and we barely noticed any hot honey. Sausage was few and far between. The crust on both was a little too chewy…to the point where my jaw hurt after eating a slice. Maybe we just went on a bad day, but we’d probably stick to our known favorites next time.
