Uncle's Seafood — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I was not very happy with my order. I bought a snow crab and shrimp platter. It came with corn, potatoes, and broccoli. The was no garlic but it looked very well seasoned. Deciet never looked so good. The shrimp had the consistency of homemade mashed potatoes in my mouth. I picked one more up and it just broke apart like it had been partially chopped up. Idk on a scale of 1 to 10 how bad that makes the shrimp but I threw the rest out. I immediately began inspecting the other food. The potatoes and corn had no taste, despite it looking very seasoned and delicious. Threw that out. The broccoli broke apart in such a weird way I'm not even sure how to explain. It was like soggy and hard at the same time. I was just confused. The broccoli is my fav vegetable in a seafood platter so I really tried to enjoy it, especially after throwing out most of the platter already. I ate 1/4 of the broccoli before tossing that too. The crabs were okay, except for a few legs that were bendy at the ends. Please excuse my lack of finding better explanations. I was really confused and disappointed about this platter. OMG is all I can say! This place is AMAZING. My sister from Kansas City wanted seafood and I came across this place through a Google search. This was the best seafood I have ever had!!!!!!! You can get a full platter with a variety of your choice of 3 seafoods and 3-4 sides for $40. I ordered snow crab legs, steamed shrimp, broccoli, fries, and seafood salad. The shrimp were huge! The food comes in a platter and sits in this buttery seasoned sauce. Oh my goodness it is so good!!!! I had ordered butter for dipping but it was never used or needed. You absolutely must get the seafood salad. It has huge chunks of crab in EVERY bite. Everything is fresh and just delicious. This is a hidden gem! $26 for a combo Alaskan crab leg and shrimp combo... Shrimp wasn’t too bad but the crab legs 🤢tasted like water and they were super mushy ..they don’t know how to season properly whoever’s cooking just dumps HUGE amounts of obay seasoning on top after everything ...somehow the crabs still tasted like water.. the seafood salad was store brought but still tasted better than most of my meal...Corn was overcooked and mushy ,didn’t bother to try the broccoli ..I don’t usually write reviews but PLS save ur money because it’s not worth it I don’t know how they got more than 3 stars ,It’s next to a bar so ig most of the customers were too drunk to realize how bad the food...
