I usually don't share reviews, but I had to. I just got home from this place, and I have several different thinks to note regarding my experience. The entrance is wide open, no hostess to be found. People are aimlessly walking inside unsure of how this works, nor aware that you need to be 21 just to enter the facility. Incredibly confusing for people. Not to mention, after hearing the whole "have to be 21" thing, and watching them turn away a group of people because they had a 20 year old, we go inside only to see handfuls of children running around. The table we were sat at was about to fall apart. We could barely move/put drinks down at the table without everything falling off. Drinks are seriously overpriced. We sit down and scan the QR code on the table for the menu. The menu provided only shows cocktails. We used this to order our drinks, you have to make an account with a third party app to place your order/open your tab. We asked our waitress if we could have a food menu, who told us that they aren't serving food right now. She brought us a plastic menu (that was very sticky), and told us to "disregard" the food section as they weren't serving it. Mind you, we came tonight because their Stranger Things theme + themed food/drink items sounded great. They aren't serving it, don't bother. We flagged down another waitress and asked about a food menu again. She said yes, they are serving food, and brought us a dirty, crinkled piece of paper with 4 food options on it. For reference, I ordered BBQ pulled pork sliders. When it came out, the sliders (came with 3) were ice cold and had barely any BBQ on it. Buns were hard. We quickly decided we were finished, and attempted to reopen the app to close our tab, only to find that both of our tabs had been combined into one for both drinks, and both food items. When we asked the waitress if these can be split on separate checks as they were in the first place, she said she isn't allowed to do that and she had to merge the entire order onto one tab because we ordered in person instead of through the QR code menu (which had 0 food items). After talking to another waitress, she was able to split the items for us. Overall, very confusing and disappointing experience. Communication among staff and streamlined ordering processes for customers would make this...
Read moreI was so excited to check this place out but was pretty disappointed with my experience. While the decorations were cool, the service was horrendous. I came in with two friends and sat at the bar which was a little busy but not too bad. I knew what I wanted so I wasn't looking at the menu (which would indicate that I needed more time). We waited... And waited... And waited... Everyone else seemed to have drinks and we're filtering out. A couple came and sat beside us and we continued to wait. The bartender then greeted the new couple (never greeted us) then went on to make some more drinks. Another person stepped up to the other end of the bar which was pretty empty at this point and was immediately served. Now I'm annoyed... This person has a list of drinks that they ordered so we waited some more ... The bartender finally makes her way back to our end.... and walks right past us to the couple. After the spend a while chit chatting and discussing drinks etc. she goes off to make their drinks. So we went from wanting to spend some time here getting some cocktails to wanting just one drink and leaving. She finally makes it over to us and asks what she can get us and I tell her the order pretty quickly and she gets this look on her face and gives me the most attitude-filled âooookaaaayyy" you could imagine. So at that point, I've lost all tolerance for this place and we just get up and walk out. Both of my friends had time to go to the restroom, come back, ask if we got served (never happened), and we were literally the last people possible that she could serve because she greeted and served every other person who came to the bar regardless of the fact that they came in after us. So needless to say, I would not recommend this bar and will not be going back. The service was abhorrent and there are plenty of...
Read moreI was pretty disappointed since I had a pretty good time here during their Halloween Stranger Things theme. Last night was my 2nd time visiting this establishment. It's been all over social media for their Grinch themed Christmas decorations. Now the decorations were AMAZING and it's clear they went ALL OUT, but service was absolutely HORRIBLE! I am not one of those impatient customers and I understand that places aren't properly staffed, but the server Josh A in the back bar was absolutely unattentive to my cousin & I. He was soo busy flirting, chatting, and taking shots with ladies at the other end that he didn't forget the drink I ordered once, twice but 3 TIMES! He also forgot to come back to get my cousin's order. There was a couple sitting next to us and he said he would grab their order first... he dropped their drinks off and went right back down to the other end to chit chat. My cousin and I both had to wait over 20 minutes for our 2nd drinks and the happy hour crew had left so it was not that busy. We also requested our checks early and we don't do this when we go out. We both usually drop $100 + tip or more each on food and drinks, but we were soo dissatisfied with the service. I wasn't even there an hour. Another disappointment was the holiday cups. We only saw the Tinsel cans and the plastic grinch cups. We were looking for the other character cups for the holiday drinks as those have been a highlight on social media. Neither bar had...
