Where to start, the decor is very nice, a huge upgrade from what it used to be when it was a club. I went for Sunday brunch, you have a limited portion of the menu you can order from, cool. We had a party of 7. One person didn't order anything. There was a long wait for the waitress, I asked for water, she only brought out 3 glasses, none for me. She says something about they don't have glasses.... Mmmmkay. We ordered drinks, which took a while, so when she walked back by empty handed, I changed my drink to a spicy margarita, she confirmed what I said over the very, very loud music. She's writing nothing down, comes back with some drinks, not mine and I remind her of my order. She tells me, with a hint of annoyance, that I ordered the original drink. I reminded her that I changed it, and she had to check with the bartender to see if she made the wrong order yet..... cool, she didn't. Spicy Margaret comes out finally. Then we ordered hookah. They didn't have the flavor we wanted so she brought out a picture on her phone of the flavors in stock. It comes pretty quick. She takes our order, appears to be writing it down, but many, many, many minutes later the food trickles out, a bite at a time. First is 2 sides of eggs. Why are the eggs divorced from the rest of the meal?? The rest of the food comes out a la carte, each time a Q&A session is happening to figure out who it belongs to. The food is delivered so sporadically that it's about an hour before I realized that she never brought my food! Meanwhile, Back That A$$ Up by Juvi comes on and an immediate twerk wind fills the room. Cool. The waffles look undone, lambchops over done, cheese eggs were cheeseless and the grits were sitting in a puddle of petroleum. I ask for the manager, and the waitress comes by asks what I ordered.. Really? I told her I no longer wanted it, she said she's asking so she can take it off the bill. Ms. ma'am, you never put it on! We ask for the drink to be comped, but the music was so loud, she thought we ordered another drink. The manager comes by, nice gentleman, asks what I ordered. The waitress is there too and said something must have happened. Obvi. He comps the drink, thanks. We sat too long waiting for someone to bus the table and the check. We requested the check and when the check did finally come, there was some weird credit card fee and her $57 gratuity added in. But she can only take 3 cards. Girl, what the fork is happening???? We're paying for a credit card fee that's added in before you know how we're paying, but you can't even take all the cards? At this point, just unhand us and give us free! This place will be a dinosaur soon and it's unfortunate, but there's so much that needs to be learned about the hospitality business before just opening a restaurant. If you're looking for decibel busting good music, abysmal service, cute vibes, mid food, no water and a side of twerk wind, then look no further. Otherwise, there are plenty of other brunch spots in the city. 1 star for spicy Margaret.

My sister and I decided to visit yesterday for happy hour. We were really excited to visit due to hearing great reviews about the food and atmosphere in this new restaurant. We got here around 4 pm, we decided to sit at the bar due to open seating when we walked in. We sat down and proceeded to order with the bartender she was so sweet and nice. We got our drinks and put in for our appetizers I ordered the crab cakes my sister ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls. As we’re just having our conversation over our drinks we realize about 40 min had gone by and no food. We asked the bartender if she put in our order she explained yes and then she further stated she would go and check to see what was going on. She came back still no food! She explained that I’d would be out shortly. Ok cool no problem. We ordered another drink now. At this point I see the waitress come out with a plate of crab cakes which was actually for another guest that had also been waiting a while as well but once I saw how dark fried they were I kindly asked that mines not be cooked as dark. I mean they had a hard crust on them. I’m sorry I’m not used to eating fried crab cakes I guess give me broiled 🤷🏾‍♀️ as we continue to sit for another 45 min the cheesesteak egg rolls finally came out. So that was basically almost 2hr just waiting for an appetizer. It actually wasn’t even that crowded in the restaurant for the wait to had been so long. I’m not really counting them out yet because I do want to go back and try to experience some of the great food I saw on the menu but the kitchen crew need to tighten up BIG TIME. They will definitely be the reason this new establishment may not receive all the glory I know that they can. All of the workers were very friendly and courteous. To the owner/manager get the kitchen crew together!! Call chief Ramsey if y’all need too lol! On the bright side the drinks were delicious!

My best friend and i came here bc we saw a great review on insta from a foodie. We should have known better and looked up the reviews here. It was about 1 pm. When we arrived. Our initial thought when we walked in was that the place was cute! And a vibe bc some really good hits were playing. It was very empty aside from a handful of us and one super big party. We sat at the end of the bar, which was never wiped down. All the plates and dirty dishes would be tossed onto the bar literally next to me. The combination of music and trying to talk, i felt like i was practically yelling. Even then, all these little things were just adding up to a sub-par experience. We were still willing to push through. We ordered drinks and food. Basically, everything we wanted wasn't available. So we made do with chicken and waffles and lamb and waffles. Unfortunately, our food not only took over 50 min. To get to us, but the couple who came probably 20 min. after us received their food before us. Which really made no sense to me. The food was dry. Barely any seasonings. The lamb, the chicken, the waffle. The whole plate just was not hitting the way i hoped it would. In the end, the food was NOT worth the wait. The servers and bartender were great. I really enjoyed their interactions with each other and the teamwork i was able to witness. It truly made me happy to see them collectively doing their best to help each other. Our bartender was really nice, and the way she made our drinks was literally amazing. So, no complaints about staffing. The only reason i gave this place the stars it has is bc of the staffing. Everything else needs some work. What the fork has potential. I hope and wish you...
