Wirlybird Coffee - Olde Kensington — Restaurant in Philadelphia

From the name, I got terrible flashbacks to high school where my bullies would take me into the bathroom and dunk my head in the toilet water get it because it’s called a wirly :( just terrible stuff going on you guys. HAHA JUST KIDDING! I did not get bullied in high school in fact I was quite popular due to my good looks and charming personality. Once I was here and the yellow hair girl at the counter said ‘hello how are you’ and I got very scared because it was my first day on earth. Alas all of my problems are my own. This place is cool. I like the “collab” of a coffee place inside a brewery. The service was very friendly. I had an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich with scrapple. The sandwich was rather disappointingly small for the ~7$ price tag and tasted ok. the coffee was quite nice. Lastly, while the space is super cool and open, it does have rather unfortunate acoustics. It was a Sunday midday with maybe 10 customers in there and the noise from chatter was so bad that I couldn’t even hear my sister on a face...

Wirlybird coffee is an absolute gem! The coffee is consistently excellent—rich, smooth, and brewed just right every time.
