I can’t say enough good things about this brewery — it’s the perfect combination of craft excellence and culinary creativity. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with just the right balance of laid-back and lively.

The beer? Outstanding. Each pour was clearly crafted with care, and the variety meant there was something for everyone.

And the food? Wow. Not your typical "brewpub fare" — every dish was elevated, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in their work. We live around the corner and stopped by after it recently opened. I came inside with my service dog to be seated and was told they don’t allow dogs inside. I told him my dog is a service dog but he gave a farce excuse that because there is a kitchen they can’t allow it. Though this may be a valid reason it is a lie given their kitchen is entirely isolated and enclosed from the general seating area. He offered to seat us outside literally abutted against indoor seating by an open fence so the logic of not being allowed inside is nonsensical, not to mention illegal per ADA. I have PTSD and this establishment is unwelcoming. Aside from that— the vibe was stuck up snobby pretentious hipster and the beer was mid. Better off going to human robot or...

Stopped into the new outpost of Wissahickon Brewing Company in old Kensington. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood. We had some seasonal beers an incredible fried chicken sandwich with great pickles and white sauce. The sandwich came with a generous serving of perfectly cooked fries too. Everything was so good I forgot to take a picture. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar is the perfect spot to watch a game or meet some friends. This place is just right. Oh and they have delicious Liberty Gin cocktails...
